I am an Integrative Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist. What this means is that I don't offer just one type of therapy e.g. CBT which I apply to everyone and every type of issue, I draw on whatever techniques I think would be appropriate for that particular client. Each person is different as are their issues and problems. By employing a variety of therapeutic techniques I can tailor the solution to the individual.
The techniques I use include Hypnosis, Hypnotherapy, Psychotherapy, Counselling, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Hypnoanalysis, Inner Child Work (PICT), Imagery, Dream Therapy and Neuro-Linguistic Programming.
I use elements of Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy with the majority of my clients. I see hypnosis as an extremely useful tool to facilitate and speed up therapy and to bring about positive changes for my clients. Often when we have problems, there is an element of that problem that is unconscious / subconscious. By allowing us to access our unconscious hypnosis can make therapy more effective and quicker.
The Therapy I provide is aimed specifically at finding a resolution to your problem as quickly, safely and efficiently as possible. If you have an issue and are not sure whether therapy would be appropriate for you, please call me and we can talk it through.
I currently have a practice in Edlesborough, Bedfordshire and work across, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have a Diploma in Integrated Psychotherapy and Hypnotherapy from the Complementary College of Therapeutic Studies (CCTS) and an Advanced Diploma in Hypnotherapy from the Academy of Advanced Changework. I am a member of the the General Hypnotherapy Register.
I have completed training in Hypnotherapy, Psychotherapy, Counselling, Cognitive and Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Inner Child work, Dream Therapy and Analytical Hypnotherapy. I use what I call an "integrated" approach, drawing upon the techniques that I think will suit individual clients.
The General Hypnotherapy Register
Hypnotherapists may become members of the General Hypnotherapy Register if they satisfy certain criteria with regard to both training and ongoing requirements as determined from time to time by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC).
Members are either registered at Practitioner status (which confirms that the GHR acknowledges their qualification to practice), or Affiliate status. Although Affiliate level registrants will have completed a sufficient number of training hours to equip them to commence seeing clients on a limited basis, the GHR does not acknowledge them to have yet been trained to full practitioner level.
All GHR Registered Practitioners are required to accept the published Code of Ethics and Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure.

Information about health conditions (*)
Hypnotherapy can enhance the well-being of individuals diagnosed with serious medical conditions, but should not take the place of medical treatment and advice. If you have been diagnosed with - or suspect you may have - any of these conditions, please speak to your doctor before starting hypnotherapy.
