About me

Hello,

I am Bill Hard, and I am a fully qualified and internationally registered hypnotherapist with further training in psychotherapy. I offer both face to face and online appointments. Psychotherapy can allow a deeper exploration of issues or problems if necessary, however, for many clients, hypnotherapy is all that's required. I specialise in helping people overcome anxiety, panic attacks and phobias as well as managing chronic pain. I also commonly work with many other issues such as building confidence and self-esteem and much more besides.

If you are unsure just call text or email and ask, and I will give you my honest opinion about whether I can help.

During the current COVID 19 situation, I am unable to see clients face to face but can still offer effective help via skype or zoom. This is a different way of working but in most cases can still achieve the same great results.

I am passionate about your ability to create the change that you want. I have over 15 years of experience as a hypnotherapist, and before that, I was working as a nurse, trainer, coach, and stress management consultant and mindfulness and meditation teacher. In fact, I have been working with people helping them to overcome problems and achieve their goals for most of my adult life and I feel this breadth of experience positively informs the way I work as a hypnotherapist. I have also taught Hypnotherapy for the UK Academy of therapeutic arts and sciences and currently teach for the National College of Hypnosis and Psychotherapy.

I see myself as the facilitator of your ability to grow and create the change you want.

If you choose to work with me not only will you get a distinctive approach informed by wealth and breadth of experience, but I can promise you that you will be treated, with respect and professionalism

Areas of hypnotherapy I deal with

Information about health conditions (*)

Hypnotherapy can enhance the well-being of individuals diagnosed with serious medical conditions, but should not take the place of medical treatment and advice. If you have been diagnosed with - or suspect you may have - any of these conditions, please speak to your doctor before starting hypnotherapy.

Other areas of hypnotherapy I deal with

Thoughts and Ideas
People can suffer from thoughts of low self-esteem, or obsessive thoughts about someone or something. They may not be able, for example to get out of their minds the idea that they are suffering from an illness, despite medical reassurance, or that a partner is unfaithful. hypnotherapy can help the client to change such ideas.

Feelings
People can suffer from a wide variety of distressing feelings such as panic attacks, anxiety, jealousy, guilt, anger or inadequacy. Whatever the problem feeling, hypnotherapy can deal with it more specifically than can a drug – and without harmful side effects.

Habits
People can find themselves in the grip of many habits that they seem unable to control, from something like nail biting or smoking to more deep-seated compulsions.
hypnotherapy, using hypnotic techniques, can help to remove habits with precision and again, with a total freedom from side effects.

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a Hypnotherapist's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the Hypnotherapist to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
