Hello, I’m Victoria and I’m passionate about helping people. I first started learning about Hypnotherapy over 20 years ago whilst working in a corporate environment, I loved the material and from there, my interest began and grew.
With the right mindset we can achieve what we once felt was impossible. By changing our thought patterns we can manage stress, overcome phobias, anxiety, change a habit of a lifetime in a heart beat & go on to achieve what we once perceived as impossible.
What to expect when working with me
We’ll meet in therapeutic and relaxing surroundings - your privacy, confidentiality and comfort is always priority. You’ll never feel compelled to do or say anything that goes against your core values or beliefs. Be assured that during hypnotherapy you cannot and will not ever say or do anything that you wouldn’t feel comfortable sharing with me outside of hypnosis. You can be assured that I’ll always have your best interests and goals at the focal point of our work together.
You’ll be in a safe, caring and non-judgemental environment. Being open and honest will enhance your therapeutic journey and the efficacy of our work together. Whilst we get to know one another you’ll gain a better understanding of what the process will entail. You really should only work with a therapist that you feel comfortable with. I can help you make significant changes to your life & lifestyle, overcome addiction, change habits, work on stress & anxiety related issues, manage your weight or free you of a phobia.
I use a combination of Hypnotherapy, CBT, Mindfulness and NLP to create a therapeutic plan of action tailored to meet each clients needs and desired outcomes. I teach all of my clients great coping skills and strategies that they're encouraged to use in everyday life. The aim is to create independence and resilience whilst reinforcing all that is done during our sessions together.

I’m a fully insured & accredited Hypnotherapist, and I'm registered with:

I first trained in Neuro Linguistic Programming NLP with Anthony Robbins whilst working for a training company that specialised in attitudinal based training & coaching in the workplace. This introduced me to the work of Richard Bandler the creator of NLP I went on to complete the NLP practitioner course in the late 1990’s. During this training I decided to become a fully licensed & accredited Counsellor and Hypnotherapist.
Qualified in 2002 at the UK College of Complimentary Health Care based in St Charles Hospital, Notting Hill, London & Wembley Centre for Health & Care, I learnt Ericksonian based Hypnotherapy combined with Person Centred Counselling. We were taught how to work alongside the NHS, follow the codes of conduct set out by the GHR and become fully accredited and insured Hypnotherapists.
I completed a course in Cognitive, Behavioural Mindfulness at Oxford Mindfulness Centre this combines Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) with Mindfulness. My most recent Diploma in Cognitive, Behavioural Hypnotherapy (CBT) combines CBT with Hypnotherapy. I completed this Diploma at The UK College of Hypnosis & Hypnotherapy. This method takes a clinical evidence based approach and combines Cognitive, Behavioural, Therapy (CBT) one of the most effective and now well used therapies and combines it with Hypnosis making it very effective. This course is also approved by The British Psychological Society, General Hypnotherapy Register, Complimentary & National Healthcare Council and National Council of Hypnotherapy.

The initial consultation is a very important piece of work that forms the foundation of all of our work together & builds the framework of future sessions. This is the longest session and takes 90-120 minutes. I charge £100 for this session.
Hypnotherapy is a short term therapy usually six sessions is enough. During the Initial Consultation, I like to agree six sessions with clients with a review during session four. In the review we’ll look at your progress and consider how we move forward. You may well have achieved your goal.
Follow on Sessions
Each sessions is 1 hour I charge £50 for these the length of these sessions is agreed in advance.
Change by Thought is able to accept Cash, PayPal or all major Credit or Debit cards. Payment is made at the time of booking before we start work.
I'm based in the heart of Old Town Swindon.
There is plenty of parking available. When you book I'll send you confirmation and a map showing my location and the best places to park.
There is also good access to public transport close by.
