About me

I have over 12 years of experience helping clients make meaningful and positive changes. I am fully qualified, insured and registered with the BSCH governing body.

I specialise in helping clients to manage anxiety/stress, change habitual behaviors and  develop positive mindsets using a variety of proven techniques, including Hypnotherapy, Psychotherapy, Psychodrama, Parts Therapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Play Therapy, Meditation, and Mindfulness and counselling skills.

Additionally, I support clients during their family-building journey, whatever their journey, from fertility and hypnobirthing to being a parent and the transition back to work.  www.natal-nurture.com

The way I work:

Client-Centred Approach
Your experience is my primary focus. Throughout our collaboration, I will ask thoughtful questions to ensure that our work aligns with your needs and goals. If we encounter any challenges, we will adjust our approach to find what works best for you. Creating a supportive and judgment-free environment is essential, allowing you to be open and authentic as we work toward your success.

Feedback-Driven Practice
Your input is invaluable. After each session, I will actively seek your feedback to assess the effectiveness of our time together. Since therapy is not a one-size-fits-all solution, your unique experiences will guide us in tailoring interventions that truly resonate with you.

Honesty and Clarity
I believe in transparency and integrity in our work. I will only take on clients that are within my professional expertise, ensuring that you receive the most appropriate care. I am committed to realistic expectations, never promising quick fixes (apart from Stop Smoking!) and will explain the reasoning behind any therapeutic approaches, so you feel fully informed and in control.

Science-Driven Approach
I pursued an evidence-based post graduate qualification because I trust in the value of scientific research and empirically supported methods.

What client's say:

*****
Verity is SERIOUSLY GOOD at what she does! The experience and results surpassed my expectations. I felt relaxed and in control throughout Thank you so much Verity.

*****
I recently had a wonderful session with Verity and I cannot thank her enough. Her approach was calming and effective, and I left feeling much more at ease. I highly recommend her to anyone suffering from anxiety and panic attacks, especially if you are nervous about flying. Her expertise and compassionate nature make a real difference.

*****
Brilliant experience with Verity helping us prepare for the birth of our first child. She ran the hypnobirthing sessions in our home over a couple of weeks which worked well for us. My partner felt so much more equipped going into the birth and keeping me on point with my breathing during contractions! As Verity is a mum as well, the course felt really practical as she understood what we needed and could tailor it to us. Verity is professional and caring, we would definitely recommend!
