About me
I am a fully qualified clinical hypnotherapist, psychotherapeutic counsellor, and clinical supervisor working close to the centre of Nottingham.
I choose not to specialise in a particular area of therapy as I enjoy the freedom to work with a variety of clients, but I have a lot of experience working with depression and anxiety, phobias, and pain management.
I am an integrative counsellor, which allows me to truly tailor therapy to suit you, so whether you're new to therapy, or you're looking to begin a new chapter of your journey, I can support you in exploring your 'inner you' and finding the best way to move forward.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have diplomas in hypnotherapy and psychotherapeutic counselling, and I am a fully accredited professional member of the National Hypnotherapy Society as well as the National Counselling Society. I also hold a Diploma in Clinical Supervision.
Member organisations
The National Hypnotherapy Society is a Learned Society whose primary purpose is the advancement of the knowledge of hypnotherapy and the fostering of professional hypnotherapy expertise through training, accreditation and continued professional development of their members. The Society seeks to contribute to public wellbeing both through the use of hypnotherapy and by ensuring that hypnotherapists are safe, competent and ethical in practice.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
