About me
Most people don't come to me because they want hypnotherapy. They come because they're tired of living in survival mode.
I've never met anyone who's 'just anxious'. I've only ever met people whose mind and body have learnt to protect them in ways that no longer serve them.
By the time we meet, many people have spent months, sometimes years, trying to work out what's wrong with them. They've tried to think positively, push through, distract themselves or simply keep going. Some have learnt to hide how they're feeling so well that nobody around them realises they're struggling.
The hardest part is that, despite all of their effort, nothing seems to change. Over time, they begin to wonder whether they're the problem.
I see it differently.
One thing I've learnt from working with hundreds of people is this: there's always a reason why we think, feel and respond the way we do. Every experience we have shapes us in some way. Some experiences help us grow, while others teach us how to survive. Those survival patterns can stay with us long after we no longer need them, leaving us feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck or constantly on edge.
Rather than asking, "What's wrong with you?"
I'm far more interested in asking, "What's happened that's taught you to respond this way?"
That question changes everything because it replaces self-judgement with curiosity and compassion.
One of the things I hear most often is, "That makes so much sense."
For me, that's the moment where change begins. When people understand themselves differently, they stop blaming themselves. That's often when change begins. You begin to work with your mind and body instead of feeling controlled by them.
My approach is completely tailored to you. I combine Clinical Hypnotherapy, Psychotherapy, EMDR and NLP because no two people are the same, and I don't believe therapy should be either. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, panic attacks, ADHD, phobias, low confidence, emotional eating, smoking, vaping or simply feeling overwhelmed by life, my aim is always the same: to understand what's driving those patterns and help you create lasting change.
People are often surprised by how quickly things begin to make sense, and once that happens, change often follows more quickly than they expected. Not because there's a quick fix, but because understanding the reason behind your reactions allows your mind and body to respond differently.
If you've recognised yourself in any of this, I'd love to hear your story.
You don't need to have the right words, know where to start or have everything figured out. You simply need a willingness to take that first step.
I offer a free 15-minute exploratory call where we can talk about what's been happening, answer any questions you have and see whether we're the right fit.
I genuinely believe that people can change. I've seen it happen time and time again. Sometimes all it takes is someone who can help you make sense of what you've been carrying, so you can stop fighting yourself and start moving forwards with confidence.
You don't have to do that on your own.

Training, qualifications & experience
I am a qualified psychotherapeutic counsellor and clinical hypnotherapist, with additional training in EMDR, NLP, parts-based approaches, and transformational and heart-based practices.
Over the years I've supported people with anxiety, panic attacks, ADHD, low confidence, phobias, smoking and vaping cessation, grief, emotional overwhelm and many of the patterns that leave people feeling stuck.
Many of the people I work with are exhausted from constantly trying to hold everything together. They often understand things logically, but still find themselves stuck in the same emotional reactions, fears, habits or patterns underneath.
My approach focuses on the deeper patterns driving how you think, feel and respond, including the subconscious processes behind habits, emotional reactions and automatic behaviours.
Every person is different so I do not use a “one approach fits all” model. I draw from different approaches depending on what you need, so the work is tailored specifically to you, your experiences and the challenges you are facing.
Alongside running my private practice, I also volunteer as a counsellor within a local hospice, supporting people through grief, loss and some of life’s most emotionally difficult moments.
Working alongside people during some of the most difficult times in their lives has continually reminded me that what we see on the outside rarely tells the whole story.
Qualifications and training:
- Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling Practice
- Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy
- Diploma in Smoking Cessation
- Diploma in Weight Management
- Diploma in Parts Therapy
- Diploma in NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming)
- Diploma in Transformational and Heart-Based Practices
- EMDR Practitioner
- Reiki Master
Together, these approaches allow me to tailor therapy to the person sitting in front of me, rather than expecting them to fit one particular model. I don't believe one approach works for everyone. That's why I draw from different therapeutic approaches depending on what you need.
Hypnotherapy can help create change at the level where habits and automatic responses are formed.
Parts therapy can help resolve the internal conflict that often keeps people feeling stuck.
EMDR supports the processing of difficult or overwhelming experiences.
NLP helps shift unhelpful thinking and behavioural patterns.
Transformational and heart-based practices can support deeper self-awareness, emotional healing and connection with yourself.
This work is about more than just coping on the surface. It is about helping you feel calmer within yourself, understand your patterns differently, and create lasting change that feels real and sustainable.
If you are tired of just coping and ready for things to feel different, I can support you in creating lasting change. My goal isn't simply to help you feel better. It's to help you understand yourself so that you stop seeing yourself as the problem.
Member organisations
Hypnotherapists may become members of the General Hypnotherapy Register if they satisfy certain criteria with regard to both training and ongoing requirements as determined from time to time by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC). Members are either registered at Practitioner status (which confirms that the GHR acknowledges their qualification to practice), or Affiliate status. Although Affiliate level registrants will have completed a sufficient number of training hours to equip them to commence seeing clients on a limited basis, the GHR does not acknowledge them to have yet been trained to full practitioner level. All GHR Registered Practitioners are required to accept the published Code of Ethics and Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure.

Hypnotherapy can enhance the well-being of individuals diagnosed with serious medical conditions, but should not take the place of medical treatment and advice. If you have been diagnosed with - or suspect you may have - any of these conditions, please speak to your doctor before starting hypnotherapy.

Additional information
The first session can sometimes feel a little unfamiliar. Everything is new: the space, the process, and perhaps hypnotherapy itself.
That’s completely normal.
Nothing needs to change overnight. Often, people first need time to settle, feel safe and begin trusting the process.
That’s why giving yourself more than one session can be important, because once you feel more comfortable, the deeper work can really begin.
I usually recommend a minimum of three sessions for each area you’d like to work on, as this is where we begin to move beyond the initial settling-in phase and create more meaningful, lasting change.
Single sessions are charged between £95 and £120 depending on when they are booked.
To support continuity and momentum, I also offer a hypnotherapy package of 3 sessions for £240 payable upfront. Sessions are to be used within 6 months of purchase and are non-refundable.
This structure helps create consistency and gives you the space to fully engage with the process, rather than stopping just as things begin to shift.
Smoking and vaping cessation sessions are slightly different and are offered at £350. This includes two sessions, with practices to support you in between sessions.
I understand that life is busy, so I can offer sessions outside of typical working hours, including evenings and weekends.
We can talk everything through on an initial call if you have any questions.
