About me

Hi. I am a Registered Clinical Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist working with adults and children from my practice in West Bridgford, Nottingham. I help with a range of issues including anxiety and stress, unwanted habits, phobias and disturbed sleep. Together we identify goals, what holds you back and work with you to find your own inner strength and resources to make the changes you want. Therapy sessions with me offer a catalyst and support for change which clients can then incorporate into their every day life.

A Different Kind of Therapy

There is no one size fits all therapy approach. The kind of support I offer is tailored to your needs.  If it is important to you it is important to me. Some people find the most beneficial part is having a confidential and trusted space to talk openly and explore feelings and thoughts, for others it might be finding the best coping strategies and techniques to help manage their situation, for others it might be a the chance to learn how to truly relax.

Children and Young People

Life for many children, young people and their families is particularly challenging right now. I have many years experience of supporting children and young people both as a teacher and therapist, offering a creative, caring and solution focussed approach.

I offer sessions in person from the welcoming Bay Therapy Centre (www.baytherapycentre.com) and also online from the comfort of your own home.

Do give me a call or drop me an email to find out more about how this might work for you. With warmest wishes. Ruth
