About me

Rebecca Flatres at RJF Therapy: Accredited hypnotherapist :

Hi, my name is Rebecca. I am a qualified accredited hypnotherapist, accredited psychotherapist, EMDR Therapist, advanced BWRT practioner, licensed NLP practitioner, EFT practitioner and licensed practitioner of Mnemodynamic therapy. In addition to this, I am an accredited member of the National Hypnotherapy Society. Safe to say, I have great knowledge within this field of therapy, and am hugely passionate about what I do. I have helped many people with their wellbeing, emotional and physical concerns. I firmly believe I’ve found my true calling in life, and I love to help people!

My ethos is that one size doesn’t necessarily always fit all, and as a result all my sessions are bespoke to each individual client. The initial consultation is free and lasts around 30 minutes. During this time, I will get a better understanding of what you feel you want from my services to ensure I can deliver exactly what you need.

The areas I specialise in are issues surrounding anxiety, trauma, depression, habits, hypnobirthing, weight release and pain amongst many others. Alongside hypnotherapy, I also utilise a combination of NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), and Mnemodynamic therapy – a form of conscious regression to help find the root cause of any emotional issues present to ensure they are addressed correctly and effectively. I also apply EFT (Emotional Freedom technique) into some treatments – a form of needleless acupuncture which uses fingertips to stimulate energy points on the body.

The area I take the biggest amount of pride in, is offering a relaxed, friendly, calm, and most importantly, non-judgemental environment. Your privacy will always be paramount, and I endeavour to be flexible with appointments, offering some evening and weekend appointments where possible. Sessions will last for an hour, except for smoking cessation sessions which last for 1.5 to 2 hours.

I operate from my purposefully designed therapy building for maximum comfort and relaxation.

I am also an Anxiety UK Approved Therapist, providing therapeutic support to the charity’s members and partner beneficiaries.

Please contact me to see how I can help you.

Further information

Hypnotherapy is a form of deep relaxation in a calm, relaxing, peaceful environment. The client is in complete control and can hear every word. Hypnotherapy is safe, and also natural. The benefit of hypnotherapy is the ability to enhance your life by empowering you to make changes. By getting to the root of whatever has been holding you back. This can bring about a change at a deep level that is long lasting, often permanent, but also life-changing.

“Rebecca has helped me so much, her kind and sensitive approach to therapy has helped as much as the therapy itself. I have sought help from her for stress relief and have also experienced her mneomodynamic therapy which has helped me to move forward from some difficult experiences. Rebecca has had such a positive impact on my life in more ways than she probably realises. You could not get a better therapist than her.” LH

“I would highly recommend Rebecca. Her calm manner and thoughtful provoking comments have enabled me to open up and be honest with myself, providing me with suggestions and ways to re-frame my thinking in order to believe in myself – that’s a huge achievement!” K

"A year ago I was diagnosed with a life threatening illness and I contacted Rebecca for help with my anxiety. I cannot stress how wonderful she has been. Rebecca has a calm, non-judgemental manner and immediately puts you at ease. Her hypnotherapy sessions are so calming and relaxing and I would definitely recommend them. Rebecca has helped me so much and she has given me the tools to deal with my anxiety as and when it arises. I honestly don't know how I would have got through the last year without her." AB

"There's a couple of times I intended to drop you a note to say Thank you for your support in helping me deal with my anxiety issues.  Almost a year later, I have become closer to being my 'ideal self', feeling confident, happy and seeing the world in HD – your BWRT sessions literally changed my life and set me in the direction of where am I now.  I am much better at recognising situations that are triggers and sharing that I find certain situations challenging and working out how to deal with them." Kate
