About me

Hello! I'm Leanne and I'm an advanced dynamic hypnotherapist, somatic therapist and mindset coach, and for over a decade I have helped my clients harness the power of their bodies and their subconscious minds so they can live their favourite life.

What Can Hypnotherapy Help With?

Hypnotherapy can help all areas of life including: anxiety, stress, depression, confidence, emotional overwhelm, worry, panic attacks, low self-esteem, and all anxiety related disorders, phobias, fears and habits, pain management and healing, hypno-birthing, sports, exams and work performance, smoking cessation and weight management...yup all that and more.

You may be here because you are suffering with something specific as above, but equally, many of my clients find me because they just know something isn't right.

If you keep thinking there has to be more to life, then there is, and I can help you work out what that is so you can finally move forward. Even and especially if you have tried and struggles to make progress with other forms of therapy such as talking therapies, meditation etc.

Why Hypnotherapy?

Your subconscious mind is all powerful. It is at the heart of everything that we do and everything we don't do. Everything we have and everything we don't have... and the greatest tool we have for influencing our subconscious minds is hypnotherapy.

Now our minds only ever want the best for us. It's there to keep us safe and happy and loved.  But sometimes our subconscious minds pick up beliefs that aren't serving us such as, 'I'm not good enough', 'I'm not smart enough', 'everything has to be perfect.

These kinds of beliefs manifest in anxiety, depression, and imposter syndrome.  Bad habits and self-destructive behaviours.  You might find you are always choosing unsuitable partners, holding back from progressing in your career, being quick to anger or lacking confidence.

As our minds feed our bodies, they can also manifest in physical aches, pains and illnesses and so hypnotherapy can also have a profound effect on physical struggles too.

You are not broken, you simply have some beliefs that aren't serving you.

How Will Our Sessions Work?

Over the course of our sessions, I will help you understand how your mind works and why solely relying on your conscious mind to make the changes you want doesn’t always work. I then tailor the pace and approach of hypnotherapy to meet your individual needs, while including somatic techniques to reprogram your nervous system and release held emotions from your body as needed.

Why Choose Me?

I am not a script driven hypnotherapist, meaning I work with you in a responsive, dynamic way utilising many advanced techniques as needed specifically for you. This may include inner child work, timeline therapy, NLP techniques, hypno-healing, somatic IFS and more.  Suggestion and visualisation scripts may be used in order to strengthen the work done between sessions and if so, these audios are yours to keep.

I can provide online sessions to clients anywhere.  This is very popular as you can have hypnotherapy from the comfort of your own home - but to those local to the Wirral, I can also offer in-person sessions in my comfortable purpose built facility

If you’re ready and motivated to make a positive change in your life then I would love to talk through how I can help you, so feel free to get in touch.

"Leanne really helped me with several issues that were holding me back. Although I'd tried to process them and work them out nothing had helped. It really is a great tool for change! I also had a particularly stubborn trauma bond that we worked on, and I can genuinely say the changes that specific session alone have brought about have been life changing" - Alexandra

Areas of hypnotherapy I deal with

Information about health conditions (*)

Hypnotherapy can enhance the well-being of individuals diagnosed with serious medical conditions, but should not take the place of medical treatment and advice. If you have been diagnosed with - or suspect you may have - any of these conditions, please speak to your doctor before starting hypnotherapy.

Other areas of hypnotherapy I deal with

A specific speciality of mine not listed above is helping people beat Imposter Syndrome.

Imposter syndrome is a psychological phenomenon, that reflects the belief that you’re an inadequate and incompetent failure despite evidence that indicates you’re skilled and quite successful.

Let's go over that again…

It's a belief that you are not as intelligent, creative, talented or skilled as factual evidence indicates you really are.

There are two things I want you to take from this...

  1.  It is a belief, and a belief is not fact.  No belief is true, not good or bad
  2.  Every belief can be altered, released or reframed from one that doesn’t serve you, to one that does with hypnotherapy

This belief is so strongly embedded in your subconscious that even when you achieve some success, you put it down to luck, good timing or just good fortune you got away with ‘it’.  In fact, your biggest fear is one day being exposed as a fraud.

Impostor Syndrome is easily linked to other areas of self-doubt, such as fear of success, fear of failure or self-sabotage, and it's also linked heavily with overwhelm, procrastination, overthinking and burnout.  The constant fear of exposure, isolation and rejection results in these behaviours and prevents you from stepping up into the life you truly want and deserve and becoming burnt out living the life you are.

‘As a busy mum and self employed photographer I was burnt out and couldn't see a way out. Leanne helped me see I was in a vicious cycle of believing I had no time to myself,  but wasting the time I did have.  I was staying up late just to get time alone, and was often tired and grouchy.  Working with Leanne I learnt to work with my schedule and massively improved my sleep.  Both of which have helped create calm both at home and work. I have rediscovered what is important to me, and I have begun to take time for my hobbies going back to my childhood with rollerbooting  – Jessica
