About me
Hi, and welcome! I'm Jools, a Clinical Hypnotherapist, Psychotherapist and Anxiety Expert. I am the founder of Discovery Hypnotherapy Clinics in Harley Street W1, Reigate, Surrey (and online).
When you feel ready, I offer a compassionate clinic, where you will feel seen, heard, and authentically supported.
As a former operational senior leader, I am experienced in working as a hypnotherapist with high-performance people from the worlds of business, media, and showbiz.
I specialise in helping you to reduce stress, overwhelm and anxiety in all its forms and help you to see your own capacity and potential to optimise performance and make long lasting change.
Having overcome my own struggles with anxiety, stress, and depression through hypnotherapy, this sparked in me a huge desire to help others through the same medium.
I get it, hypnotherapy is not usually the first option most people would go to for help, but it is also incredibly likely that it will be the last.
As part of my work, I also deliver workshops and talks for businesses at major event spaces in London and the surrounding areas. Previous collaborations have included workshops at Marie Curie HQ and collaboration with TV’s This Morning Fitness Expert, Shakira Akabusi, at Mortimer House, London.
I will support you to discover your own unique inner resources, empowering you to make the changes that you seek, so that you can enjoy your life again. I honestly can't wait to work with you and it is my absolute privilege to do so.

Member organisations
The CNHC encompasses many types of alternative therapy, including hypnotherapy.
In order to be admitted to the register a practitioner must have studied to the National Occupational Standards for that profession/discipline, or have reached the equivalent of the National Occupational Standards through other relevant training or at least three years of experience and been assessed by their peers.
A practitioner must also have professional insurance and agree to abide by the CNHC Code of Conduct, Performance and Ethics.
The National Council for Hypnotherapy holds one of the largest registers of independent Hypnotherapists in the United Kingdom and strives to maintain the highest standards among its members.
There is an agreed Code of Conduct, an established Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure and all members are obliged to maintain comprehensive Public Liability & Professional Indemnity Insurance, maintain regular CPD (continuing professional development) hours, and attend Supervision when needed.
The Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (AfSFH) was set up to provide information about a modern form of Hypnotherapy and its associated benefits to members of the public. The main aim of the AfSFH is to spread awareness of the benefits of Solution Focused Hypnotherapy. Its secondary aim is to support Hypnotherapists in their businesses by encouraging good practice and self-care.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

£150 for initial consultation in person at 15 Harley Street (packages/block bookings or individual sessions available, please discuss at our consultation). Payment plans for block bookings available upon request.

Online sessions are via Zoom, so perfect for international clients or business travellers.
