About me

Since qualifying in 1999, I have been helping people stop smoking, deal with stress, overcome anxiety, and deal with other problems such as relationship issues, anger management and burnout.

Sessions are conducted in a safe, friendly and confidential environment. After your free initial consultation, in which we talk about how best to help with your issue, you can decide whether to go ahead with the treatment plan, and usually relatively few sessions are required to achieve lasting successful results.

The other branch of my work is academic, and my books on psychology have been widely read, and my many psychology research papers have been published in peer-reviewed scientific journals.

I am a member of the British Psychological Society and the British Society of Clinical & Academic Hypnosis. Besides my clinical work I am also an honorary lecturer in Psychology at University College London (UCL).

I have a PhD in Psychology, am a Chartered Psychologist, an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society.
