About me
Introduction and background
I am a Clinical Hypnotherapist with psychotherapeutic training at Master's level, based in Petersfield. I hold a Level 7 Certificate in Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy, with distinction, as well as a certificate in online therapy, an MA in Applied Linguistics and a PGCE.
My experience as a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead has highlighted that there is nothing more important than helping people to feel better and more able to move forward with their lives. I discovered hypnotherapy, as a vehicle for change, at the National College of Hypnosis and Psychotherapy, which has opened my mind to an entirely new way of working.

I recognise how significant a supportive therapeutic relationship can be in giving you the confidence and self-belief to make positive changes in your life.
I work with short, medium and long-term therapy and I will work to help you as quickly and as efficiently as I am able to.
I will spend the initial session/s listening to what has brought you to therapy, to work to understand you, your world and how you are feeling, before working with you in the most appropriate way to suit your needs. This will be different for every client and we will review our work together regularly to ensure that you receive the best service.

What you can expect from me
My tailored hypnotherapy has three phases:
1. Firstly, I will identify and reduce your symptoms, giving us a calming space from which to work.
2. Secondly, we will identify the causes of the issue that brought you to therapy.
3. Finally, by addressing these causes, we can work to prevent recurrence, creating lasting change and peace of mind.
Whatever you are struggling with, we will work through it together.

- CHP (Certificate in Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy) at level 7, with distinction.
- Online therapy certificate.
- ASIST suicide prevention training.
- Mental Health First Aid training.
- PGCE in Further Education.
- Masters in Applied Linguistics.
- BA in English.
Member organisations
The CNHC encompasses many types of alternative therapy, including hypnotherapy.
In order to be admitted to the register a practitioner must have studied to the National Occupational Standards for that profession/discipline, or have reached the equivalent of the National Occupational Standards through other relevant training or at least three years of experience and been assessed by their peers.
A practitioner must also have professional insurance and agree to abide by the CNHC Code of Conduct, Performance and Ethics.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
