About me

My name is Hannah and I am a Solution Focused Hypnotherapist. Working online, I will help to guide you, beyond current barriers, stress and negative cycles, supporting you to transform your future, from imagination to reality. From Stuck to Unstoppable

I change people's perceptions of therapy, from one of fear, to one of excitement and possibility, so that you can take back the very best version of yourself.

When you pick up the phone, message or email me to find out more, I know that you already have all of the answers you will ever need, you're just not able to access these at the moment, but you will. Guided by  neuroscience, enhanced by the richness of hypnotherapy, I will help you to rewire your brain to enable you to overcome obstacles and stride forward with your own goals and desires.

And we don’t even talk about  problems! By focusing on what life will be like when the problem does not exist, activating the subconscious part of the intellectual mind, you start to create a better future, filled with choice, control, and endless possibilities.

Before setting out on any journey it is usually more effective if you know where you want to go, as it makes getting there successfully far more likely. Sometimes our problems get in the way of picturing what we want, and how we would like things to be. We get stuck, and are immobilised, often by fear. We know that we want things to be different, to feel differently, but have no clear idea of what this looks like. We have no road map, or destination.

Solution Focused Therapy encourages you to develop this for yourself, by asking questions in a way that allows the brain to start to create a picture of a preferred future. The clearer this becomes the greater the possibility of it beginning to happen.

Finally, and most importantly did you know that therapy can be fun and rewarding and well as life changing? That you can learn to appreciate the brilliance that you have, and have always had? That by focusing on how you want things to be rather than your problems, your own fabulous mind will present the solutions and answers that you need? That you can regain control and choice in your own life?

I work with people that are looking for support to make changes in their lives for a number of reasons.  Below are just a few examples of issues that I can help you with:

  • Relationship Issues
  • Low Mood
  • Anxiety
  • Anger

Training, qualifications & experience

I have worked as a Registered Mental Health Nurse in the National Health Service for over thirty years, and have had the privilege of working with many people who have trusted me to work alongside them through the most difficult times in their lives. The one thing that has remained consistent throughout my changing career has been my passion and commitment to the people I work with.

For my continuing professional development, and to ensure that my knowledge is always updated and relevant I continue my  work as a specialist nurse, part-time, in an NHS Adult ADHD Team.

I am a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) and am committed to ongoing professional development. I  have completed courses specialising in EMDR, CBT, Trauma,  Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy. I have recently completed UKAAN Training with the UK Adult ADHD Network.

Testimonial:

ALICE, MELBOURNE
“I have learned to understand the dynamics of my brain and how I can retrain it to recognise that a situation that I would usually determine as a threat, to be not as bad as I thought. I wish I had tried this sooner, because I’m actually able to do things that I thought I would never be able to do again. I have realised that life should be fun, there are a million great things about my life that I did not recognise before. I’m proud of taking the steps to make myself better and I would absolutely encourage others to try hypnotherapy.”
