About me

I'm an experienced Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapist specialising in stress which can be triggered by an event that makes you feel frustrated or nervous, and anxiety which is often a feeling of fear, worry, or unease. I also have extensive experience working with career change, stress management skills, low self esteem, addictions, phobias, health worries, nail biting, smoking and insomnia.

I follow an evidence-based programme which includes CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy), mindfulness and hypnotherapy. My initial aim is to help identify and address the problem subsequently using a programme designed specifically for you, changing the way you think, feel and behave.

Changing our cognition and behaviour helps to make us feel safe and secure in how we think and what we do. Don’t wait until your world is falling apart, please contact me for help with your anxiety, depression, confidence and addictions.

Life can throw unexpected obstacles when we least expect them, sometimes we face them head on, but there are times when they overwhelm us, and it is important to know that you are not alone.

I am here to provide you with the knowledge, skills and tools to help you understand yourself and become your own therapist, creating your miracle independent of me. We are complex beings and often need help to appreciate and enjoy the amazing world we live in and to understand what we have been blessed with.

You must feel confident and comfortable with your therapist. It is good to begin with an informal chat by telephone, this allows me to talk through with you what you can achieve, and allows you to feel confident that we can work together. You can also find information on treatments and frequently asked questions on my website. The amount of sessions vary often three or more are required for you to feel confident you have achieved your goal.

Training, qualifications & experience

I trained under Mike Davis Principal of the UK College of Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy and at Birkbeck University London. (BA Hons. Dip. CBH PGC Psychosocial Studies). Having trained with the best therapists, I learned the science and humanistic approach that underpins hypnotherapy, mindfulness and psychotherapy allowing me to share my knowledge and expertise with you.

I am a member of the following professional bodies:

  • GHSC - General Hypnotherapy Standards Council
  • GHR General Hypnotherapy Register
  • CNHC - Complimentary and Natural Healthcare Council
  • The British Psychological Society Approved

I use tested scientific techniques within the therapy room, and follow the latest research through debates, attending conferences and studying, ensuring that the evidence based techniques I use are empirical and results driven. I update my Professional Development constantly to help you my clients. I hold a current DBS certificate and am fully insured.
