ABOUT ME
My name is Claudette Förster, and I am a Clinical Hypnotherapist specialising in stress, anxiety, and trauma. With me, you can discuss your concerns and be heard in a non-critical, non-judgemental space of safety.
I have always been fascinated by the use of focused attention to heal the body and the power of the unconscious mind to unlock this ability. When I began my practice, I met people struggling with their issues for many years. They felt isolated, lonely and desperate to feel better. I knew it didn’t have to be this way or take years to achieve the desired goals. Over time, I have included an eclectic mix of therapies to bring swift results. This includes, among other things, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Regression Therapy, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Life Coaching and Energy Healing. I am solution-focused and find that all these modalities complement each other, so I devised a method of treatment which helps my patients receive a more profound experience. As a result, you will learn to identify blocks in relationships, careers and daily life by creating strategies and targeting your strengths, gifts and unique skills.
I am also a trained Past Life Regression therapist and had the honour of training with the renowned Dr Brian Weiss in the USA. I am also an accredited energy healer and meditation teacher. I work with corporate companies in the UK and internationally. After each session, I offer my clients energy healing (free of charge) to help them relax and stabilise.

There is an initial telephone consultation (free of charge) to ensure that I know what you’re looking for and to ascertain what you need. After that, I will ask you to take whatever time you require to decide if I am the right fit for you. This is your journey, and it’s essential that you feel comfortable and can speak freely with me. If you decide you want to proceed, a mutually convenient time for an appointment will be arranged.
BACKGROUND
My background includes working with Shell International since 2007, offering group meditation and one-to-one clinical hypnotherapy and healing. I work with Shell staff online, covering the UK, Netherlands and USA. I am also frequently invited to host meditation classes at corporate seminars and to demonstrate relaxation techniques during World Health Day.
I am a founder of the Tabernacle Healing Group, where combining visualisation and energy healing brings patients a sense of balance and relaxation.
I am also an accredited Hypnobirthing Teacher working in groups and individually.

Member organisations
The British Society of Clinical Hypnosis (BSCH) is a national professional body whose aim is to promote and assure high standards in the practice of hypnotherapy.
There are various types of membership of BSCH, including associate members, full members, diplomats and fellows.
Registration demands good quality training, ethical practice and adherence to a code of conduct.
The CNHC encompasses many types of alternative therapy, including hypnotherapy.
In order to be admitted to the register a practitioner must have studied to the National Occupational Standards for that profession/discipline, or have reached the equivalent of the National Occupational Standards through other relevant training or at least three years of experience and been assessed by their peers.
A practitioner must also have professional insurance and agree to abide by the CNHC Code of Conduct, Performance and Ethics.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
