About me

Hi, I'm Claire.
I'm an award-winning hypnotherapist and mindset coach, and I help people who are tired of feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck or simply not like themselves anymore.

You might be the person everyone else relies on. You may look confident and capable on the outside while inside you're overthinking everything, doubting yourself, putting everyone else first or wondering where the old you disappeared to.

Or perhaps there's one particular issue a fear, habit, past experience or pattern that you know is holding you back.

Whatever has brought you here, my approach is simple: we work out what's keeping you stuck and help you move forward.

I've been helping people create change since 2014 and have worked with hundreds of clients, from children to people in their 80s, both in the UK and internationally.

Straight-talking, practical and personal
I'm not the kind of therapist who will sit silently nodding at you for an hour.

I ask questions. I listen. I notice things. Sometimes I'll challenge the way you're looking at something. And quite often, we'll laugh too.

I combine hypnotherapy with mindset coaching and other techniques, tailoring the way I work to the person sitting in front of me rather than trying to fit everyone into the same box.

Because you're not the same as everybody else and your therapy shouldn't be either.

My work commonly includes helping people with anxiety and overthinking, confidence and self-esteem, fears and phobias, unwanted habits and behaviours, weight management, stress, motivation and moving forward from difficult experiences.

At the heart of my work is something I believe very strongly:

You always have a choice.

Sometimes we simply become so caught up in old thoughts, beliefs, experiences and automatic patterns that we've forgotten we have one.

My job is to help you recognise those patterns, understand what's really going on underneath them and help you reconnect with the confidence and self-trust that may have become buried along the way.

Weight loss and changing habits
Weight management is also a significant part of my work, particularly with people who feel as though they've tried every diet going.

Rather than focusing solely on food or willpower, we look at the thoughts, habits, emotions and subconscious patterns influencing your behaviour.

I combine hypnotherapy with mindset coaching and practical strategies, creating an approach tailored to you and your circumstances.

Experience and recognition
I am a qualified Intuitive and Conversational Hypnotherapist, NLP Master Practitioner, Mindfulness Coach, Ho'oponopono Practitioner, Law of Attraction Trainer and Mindset & Confidence Coach.

My work has also been recognised with Hypnotherapist of the Year 2025/26 and a 2026 International Women Entrepreneur Award for Women Leader in Transformational Hypnotherapy & Mindset Coaching.

But qualifications and awards only tell you so much.

For me, the most important thing is whether you feel comfortable talking to me and whether I'm the right person to help you.

That's why I offer a free consultation. It's simply an opportunity for us to talk about what's happening, what you'd like to change and how I may be able to help.

Sessions are available face-to-face and online.

If you're ready to stop going round in circles and start feeling more like yourself again, get in touch.

Sometimes the biggest change starts with one decision.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have been practising as a hypnotherapist since 2014 and am a fully qualified Clinical, Intuitive and Conversational Hypnotherapist (DHyp), Certified Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (CPNLP), Mindset and Confidence Coach, Certified Life Coach, Law of Attraction Trainer, Mentor, Speaker and Ho'oponopono Practitioner.

My work has been recognised with Hypnotherapist of the Year 2025/26 and the 2026 International Women Entrepreneur Award Women Leader in Transformational Hypnotherapy & Mindset Coaching.

Before becoming a hypnotherapist, I spent more than 20 years working in education and training, including 10 years coaching and mentoring staff at all levels and working as a senior manager.

That experience has proved invaluable in my work today. I've spent decades helping people recognise what may be getting in their way, look at situations differently and make meaningful changes in both their personal and professional lives.

Specialist and advanced training
I have continued to develop my skills throughout my career, completing specialist and advanced training in areas including:

Anxiety and stress
Weight management
Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)
Coaching and mindset
Law of Attraction coaching
Mindfulness
Neuroplasticity
Body language
Addictions
Working with children
Advanced deep trance
Virtual Gastric Band
Ho'oponopono
I have undertaken specialist weight-management training with Steve Miller, known for the TV series Fat Families and appearances on Loose Women and This Morning. I am also a Licensed Practitioner of the Authoritarian and Motivational Weight Loss Programme and a member of the Association of Weight Loss Hypnotherapists.

My advanced professional development has also included training with respected practitioners including Ali Campbell and Sheila Granger.

Professional standards and memberships
I am fully insured and committed to maintaining high professional and ethical standards.

Professional registrations and memberships include:

GHR – General Hypnotherapy Register
GHSC – General Hypnotherapy Standards Council
CNHC – Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council

I continue to undertake professional development and training because I believe the more tools and understanding I have available, the better I can adapt my approach to the individual person I'm working with.

Member organisations

CNHC
Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC)

The CNHC encompasses many types of alternative therapy, including hypnotherapy. In order to be admitted to the register a practitioner must have studied to the National Occupational Standards for that profession/discipline, or have reached the equivalent of the National Occupational Standards through other relevant training or at least three years of experience and been assessed by their peers. A practitioner must also have professional insurance and agree to abide by the CNHC Code of Conduct, Performance and Ethics.

GHR
The General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR)

Hypnotherapists may become members of the General Hypnotherapy Register if they satisfy certain criteria with regard to both training and ongoing requirements as determined from time to time by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC). Members are either registered at Practitioner status (which confirms that the GHR acknowledges their qualification to practice), or Affiliate status. Although Affiliate level registrants will have completed a sufficient number of training hours to equip them to commence seeing clients on a limited basis, the GHR does not acknowledge them to have yet been trained to full practitioner level. All GHR Registered Practitioners are required to accept the published Code of Ethics and Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Additional information

I offer a free, no-obligation consultation before you decide whether you'd like to work with me.

This gives us the opportunity to talk about what's going on, what you'd like to change and what you hope to achieve. You can ask questions, I'll explain how I work, and together we can decide which approach if any feels right for you.

Ways to work with me
Individual hypnotherapy sessions – from £100
Personalised one-to-one sessions, available face-to-face or online. Sessions can last up to two hours.

Back to You – The Reset – £697
My more structured one-to-one programme for people who are ready to make deeper changes and want ongoing support rather than individual standalone sessions. This includes six sessions, WhatsApp support and a personalised hypnosis or meditation audio.

Mind Mentor Academy – £25 per month
For those looking for ongoing mindset support and personal development rather than one-to-one therapy. The Academy includes regular live online sessions, practical tools, hypnosis and meditation, plus a supportive community.

Every person and situation is different, so I don't believe in prescribing a set number of sessions for everyone. We'll discuss what you're experiencing, what you'd like to achieve and the most appropriate way forward during your consultation.

There is no obligation to book following your consultation.

Further information

My work extends beyond individual hypnotherapy sessions and I have many years of experience working with individuals, groups, businesses, schools and organisations.

Businesses and organisations
With more than 20 years' previous experience in education, training, coaching and senior management, I also understand the challenges people can face within the workplace.

I offer bespoke talks, workshops and training for businesses and organisations on subjects including:

Stress and wellbeing in the workplace
Confidence and mindset
Communication
Public speaking and presentation skills
Managing nerves
Body language
Time management
NLP and understanding patterns of behaviour
Creating positive change
Sessions can be adapted to suit the organisation, audience and desired outcome rather than delivering the same standard presentation to everyone.

Speaking and events
I am an experienced speaker and have delivered motivational and educational talks for businesses, community groups, charities, networking organisations and clubs.

I was also involved in organising TEDxTelford, where I supported speakers with nerves and confidence as they prepared to deliver their talks.

My speaking style is much like the way I work with my clients: straight-talking, practical, thought-provoking and usually with a little humour thrown in.

Topics can be tailored to the audience and can include confidence, mindset, hypnotherapy, NLP, body language, taking back control, self-belief and creating change.

If you're looking for a speaker, workshop facilitator or support for your organisation, you're welcome to contact me to discuss what you need.

Working with young people
I also have experience working with children and young people and have worked with local schools and colleges, supporting students with issues including anxiety, confidence, exam nerves and managing stress.

I am DBS checked, fully insured and experienced in working with different age groups.

A personal approach
Whether I'm working with one person, a room full of people or an organisation, my philosophy remains the same.

People aren't one-size-fits-all.

Sometimes a surprisingly small change in the way we think, respond or see ourselves can create a much bigger change in what happens next.

You always have a choice and sometimes you simply need help seeing the choices that are available to you.
