I am a Clinical Hypnotherapist based in Barnet, North London. I first became interested in hypnosis in the late 80’s. Since then I have studied with a wide variety of organizations and individuals, including Dr Tom Devlin - the man who first hypnotised and then trained Paul Mckenna.
You would be amazed at how small changes can have a huge impact on your life. These may be problems which have been affecting you for many years on a personal level. They may also have held you back in social situations or at work.
Using hypnosis and other therapeutic interventions, my aim is to help you regain control of your life. It's about empowering you, not setting you up for long term psychological dependency (for some conditions you may need only a handful sessions). As it is, I expect the majority of my clients to notice changes within the first two sessions.
This approach is known as Brief Strategic Therapy and is directed towards goals which are agreed at the initial therapy session. Using the power of your subconscious mind, we find solutions which will lead to positive and permanent changes to your life.
I work in an eclectic way, drawing on the wide knowledge and experience I have gained over the years. Hypnosis is my primary therapeutic tool, but I also utilise energy therapy in the form of EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) as well as NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming). In addition I also use a number of 'stand alone' behavioural techniques.
Using this approach I have helped many people
- quit smoking
- lose weight
- overcome fears and phobias
- deal with sleepimg problems/insomnia
- manage stress, anxiety and depression
- control pain
I have helped clients deal with these and a number of other debilitating conditions - often when other approches have failed.
This is only meant to be a brief snapshot. If you would like to know more about hypnosis and what it can do for you, then take a look at my website. Or contact me either by email or phone and I will be happy to answer any questions you care to ask.

I give talks on hypnosis to companies, clubs and societies in London and Greater London. In this free introductory talk I include some general facts about hypnosis as well as some history of the subject. The session concludes with a demonstration of psychological phenomena and a group relaxation. The talk is informal and there is plenty of time to answer questions.
The event lasts around an hour, but can be tailored to your needs. Afterwards, participants are welcome to pick up a leaflet or speak to me in confidence about what hypnotherapy can do for them.
If your group would like to know more about my talk/demonstration on this fascinating and often misunderstood subject, feel free to contact me by phone or email me for further details.
