About me

Hi! I'm Amy, I am an experienced Cognitive Hypnotherapist and NLP Practitioner based in Hitchin offering in person and online therapy sessions. I help clients regain control, boost their confidence, and experience lasting change.

I specialise in helping individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and confidence issues. I also offer dedicated support for new mothers facing postnatal anxiety, depression, and birth trauma, using a compassionate and personalised approach.

My work extends to supporting young people who are navigating the challenges of adolescence and young adulthood, providing them with the tools they need to overcome limiting beliefs and create a positive mindset for their future. I hold an enhanced DBS check, ensuring that I meet the highest standards of safety and professionalism when working with minors.

Cognitive Hypnotherapy blends cognitive behavioural techniques (CBT) with the power of hypnosis, allowing us to access the subconscious mind and identify the root causes of your issues. Together, we will address and change any limiting beliefs, thought patterns, and emotions that are holding you back, bringing about positive, lasting transformation.

I offer Confident Childbirth sessions. Confident Childbirth isn't just about preparing for labour – it's about transforming how you approach your entire pregnancy and birth experience. Using deep relaxation, visualisation, and mindfulness techniques. I'll help you reduce fear and anxiety, promote confidence, and ensure you feel empowered during your labor. If you're struggling with the aftermath of birth trauma or postnatal anxiety, I offer compassionate, personalised support to help you heal and regain control.

For many mothers, returning to work after maternity leave brings up complex emotions and a lot of uncertainty. That's why I've developed 'The Next Phase', a coaching programme specifically for mothers who want to return to work but aren't sure where to start.

I also offer Eye Movement Integration (EMI), a highly effective therapeutic approach designed to help you process and resolve emotional blockages, trauma, and distressing experiences. EMI uses guided eye movements to facilitate the natural reprocessing of unresolved memories and emotions, bringing about deep emotional healing and relief.

Whether you're ready to overcome anxiety, heal from birth trauma, build confidence, or navigate the next phase of your career, I'm here to help you. Together, we can create lasting change and empower you to lead a happier, more confident life.

Book your free consultation today and begin your journey towards transformation. If you're located in Hitchin, we can meet in-person, or if you're further afield, online sessions are also available.
