About me
With over three years post training experience in Hypnotherapy, I work in a confident and relaxed way from my therapy space in Herne Bay where I see clients face to face or online.
I work with anxiety, phobias, trauma, habits, limiting beliefs, relationships and attachment, depression, eating disorders, business, career and body image.
I’m also a qualified Therapeutic Counsellor and member of the BACP and have an MSc in Psychology.
My work also covers past life regression, parts therapy, and more focused ancestor patterns exploration.
So, what’s it like working with me?
I see hypnotherapy as a way of working with deep emotional or scary issues in a protective, relaxed bubble. Sometimes we all have issues we try and avoid, even if we’ve been in talking therapy for years! Hypnosis gives us a safety blanket which makes it easier to go to those harder places. Together we make powerful changes in a gentle way.
Hypnotherapy can also help you to calm and balance your emotions and reactions and work on anxiety to make it easier for you to then move into other types of therapy.
I have experience and additional training working with neurodivergent clients including ADHD, Autism, and Dyspraxia and am used to making adaptations and adjustments to suit specific needs – not just for clients who have diagnosed or self-diagnosed conditions but for all clients who will benefit from a more tailored approach.
I also have additional training and knowledge in trauma, dissociation, mental health, GSRD (including transgender, nonbinary, and non-traditional relationship structures) and incorporating client’s spirituality into their therapy.

It’s up to you! You can start with a free consultation to ask anything you need to either via my website or by booking a call back here. If you’re booking two sessions together, you might prefer to just go ahead and book (I take Paypal and Card payments) and we can take an approach that gives you plenty of time to talk about your needs.
Or free free to send an email, text, or WhatsApp message (but by booking a consultation time via www.heidhypnotherapy.com/book you guarantee instant responses and you can use the message-only option if you prefer not to talk straight away.

Member organisations
The CNHC encompasses many types of alternative therapy, including hypnotherapy.
In order to be admitted to the register a practitioner must have studied to the National Occupational Standards for that profession/discipline, or have reached the equivalent of the National Occupational Standards through other relevant training or at least three years of experience and been assessed by their peers.
A practitioner must also have professional insurance and agree to abide by the CNHC Code of Conduct, Performance and Ethics.
Hypnotherapists may become members of the General Hypnotherapy Register if they satisfy certain criteria with regard to both training and ongoing requirements as determined from time to time by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC). Members are either registered at Practitioner status (which confirms that the GHR acknowledges their qualification to practice), or Affiliate status. Although Affiliate level registrants will have completed a sufficient number of training hours to equip them to commence seeing clients on a limited basis, the GHR does not acknowledge them to have yet been trained to full practitioner level. All GHR Registered Practitioners are required to accept the published Code of Ethics and Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
