A powerful tool to reprogramme your mind & embrace transformation

Have you ever driven from home to work without thinking about it? It’s called highway hypnosis, it is like having a ‘driving program’ installed, your mind and body know what to do effortlessly, responding to external events in an expected, safe, and correct manner with no recollection of having consciously done so.

According to cognitive neuroscientists, 95% of brain activity goes beyond our conscious awareness, it means most of our thoughts, emotions and actions are run by the subconscious.

Just like this driving program, we have many other programs in our brain, some of them were installed in childhood, and we are not aware of them. Those programs are running in your brain, like an automatic pilot, affecting feelings, decisions, and outcomes of your life.

Unfortunately, this also leads to acting without being aware, making it very difficult to make the changes we know we want, repeating mistakes, sabotaging our relationships/health, not achieving our goals and suffering.

Have you ever wondered how different your life could be, if you could think differently if you were less worried and more congruent, determined, or courageous?

What If I tell you that exists a place in your mind in which you can influence your subconscious beliefs, behaviours, and emotions more effectively? A place where you can experience inspiration, creativity, and insight? Yes, it exists, it's called theta frequency.

But first, what are brain frequencies?

Frequencies are different states of the brain, you experience certain wave types when you engage in different kinds of behaviours and activities.

For example, when you are asleep, you are in a slow-wave frequency called delta, on the contrary, when your mind is concentrated the brain waves are in faster, in this moment, while I’m writing this article, my brain is probably in a high frequency know as beta.

Theta waves (between 4 and 7.5 Hz) are a unique blend of awareness and relaxation, serving as a bridge to the subconscious mind, in this precious moment we are more receptive to suggestions and therapeutic interventions. This allows to access subconscious reprogramming and altering deep-seated cognitive and emotional patterns. Making good use of this heightened suggestibility state can lead to significant changes in behaviour, thought processes, and emotional responses.

Theta wave activity is associated with:

  • reducing anxiety/stress
  • overcoming phobias
  • emotional stability/regulation
  • changing limiting believes
  • managing cravings
  • enhancing creativity
  • managing addictive behaviours
  • enhancing thought processes
  • improving problem-solving abilities
  • memory consolidation
  • connecting with suppressed emotions, etc.

By promoting deep levels of relaxation, theta wave activity can activate the parasympathetic nervous system, decreasing the production of stress hormones like adrenalin and cortisol, leading to enhanced emotional stability and reduced anxiety, inducing theta states enhances mental health maintenance and the cultivation of overall well-being and personal development.

Some techniques that can help us access theta state include:

  • hypnosis
  • deep meditation
  • REM sleep
  • mindfulness
  • breathwork

Hypnosis facilitates a relaxed yet aware state, where theta waves enable the mind to form new connections and insights without the limitation of linear thinking.

Individuals can effectively rewrite subconscious scripts that dictate their behaviours and beliefs, opening new possibilities for personal growth and transformation. This process of subconscious reprogramming is not only pivotal for overcoming negative patterns but also for installing positive affirmations and beliefs, thereby fostering a more empowered and fulfilling life.

The mind has an incredible capacity for change and adaptation, is never too late to reprogram your subconscious mind, embrace mental health and unlock all the mind’s potential.
