About me

I have been working as a therapist for over 15 years.      My interest in Hypnotherapy and other therapies such as N.L.P. (neuro linguistic programming), C.B.T. (cognitive behavioral therapy) and E.M.D.R (eye movement de-sensitization and re-processing) began some years ago when I found myself at a point in my life where significant positive changes were required. An employment background in corporate sales highlighted to me the excessively high levels of stress many of us endure - myself included. In addition, a particularly negative relationship left me with very low self-esteem and confidence and with minimal enthusiasm for the good things in life.

During the process of making my own personal changes I discovered how much hypnotherapy can help with a vast array of issues including stress reduction, relaxation, confidence boosting and more. In addition, I used hypnotherapy to quit smoking - a habit of around 15 cigarettes a day for nearly 20 years It also enabled me to take control of my eating habits, allowing me to enjoy all the foods I love in moderation, no longer needing a daily battle with my conscience about what I should or shouldn't eat in order to maintain a certain weight - completely liberating!

From this point on I took the step to become fully qualified in the therapy enabling me to assist others in achieving their goals and helping them feel good about themselves again. I gained the prestigious Hypnotherapy Practitioners Diploma (HPD), and took additional certificates in N.L.P., E.M.D.R. and Stress Management.

I feel very passionately that we can all help ourselves quite easily, by taking time to stop and listen to what is going on in our mind and also taking control our thoughts. After all, 'you are what you think', so if you think positively about yourself and the things and people around you it stands to reason that you will feel positive. On the flip side, if think negatively then the reverse will happen and unhelpful patterns will surface in our behaviour.

Please contact me for a free, no obligation consultation to discuss your particular concern. The list is endless but just a few of the areas that can easily and effectively be treated with hypnotherapy are - blushing, weight loss, smoking, sports performance, stuttering, low self-esteem, low self-confidence, depression, relationship issues, exam nerves, public speaking, phobias, anxiety, childbirth..........

Information about health conditions (*)

Hypnotherapy can enhance the well-being of individuals diagnosed with serious medical conditions, but should not take the place of medical treatment and advice. If you have been diagnosed with - or suspect you may have - any of these conditions, please speak to your doctor before starting hypnotherapy.

Fees

£85.00 per session
Free initial in-person, telephone or online session

Additional information

It is important for you to know how I can help you before you decide to go ahead, and I therefore offer a free initial consultation. There is no obligation for you to book a session for further treatment. Over 20 minutes or so, we can talk about what you are seeking help for, and how hypnotherapy would be able to help. Most of all, it gives you an opportunity to meet with me and decide whether I am the right person for you. You will also be familiar with the therapy room and the journey here which will help eliminate any unnecessary worry before your first session.

Sessions are approximately 60 minutes and usually a week apart. The number of sessions required can vary according to each individual and what we are working to achieve, but in most cases a course of three sessions is all that is necessary. The first three sessions are charged at £210 at the Littleton practice, payable at the first meeting, which includes a discount of £15, as a normal one off session costs £75.
