About me
I have been working in therapy since 2005. My interest in Hypnotherapy and other therapies such as N.L.P. (neuro linguistic programming), C.B.T. (cognitive behavioral therapy) and E.M.D.R (eye movement de-sensitization and re-processing), began when I found myself at a point in my life where significant changes were needed. I felt stuck and unfulfilled. An employment background in corporate sales highlighted to me the excessively high levels of stress many of us endure. I also felt like I didn't fit in, and wasn't good enough.
In addition, a particularly turbulent relationship left me with very low self-esteem and confidence and with minimal enthusiasm for the good things in life.
During the process of making my own personal changes I discovered how much hypnotherapy can help with a vast array of issues including stress reduction, relaxation, confidence boosting and more. In addition, I had hypnotherapy to quit smoking - a habit of around 15 cigarettes a day for nearly 20 years. It also enabled me to take control of my eating habits, allowing me to enjoy all the foods I love in moderation. Completely liberating!
From this point on, I took the step to become fully qualified in the therapy enabling me to assist others in achieving their goals and helping them feel good about themselves again. I gained the prestigious Hypnotherapy Practitioners Diploma (HPD), and took additional certificates in N.L.P., E.M.D.R. and Stress Management.
In 2024 I trained and qualified in Coaching and Positive Psychology with the Andy Ramage Coaching School. I also had additional training in becoming alcohol free from the man himself. Andy is at the forefront of the Alcohol Free movement.
During 2025, I attended the remarkable Peter Crones 'Mastermind'. An intensive 3 month container where I learned how to find Freedom from the limitations we all take on in our early lives. It is transformational! Peter has helped millions of people around the world find Freedom from the limiting ideas we have about ourselves. Not feeling good enough, not belonging, not feeling safe, feeling worthless, feeling like it's all your fault, feeling unimportant. The list is endless. We all operate through these sorts of constraints. If this resonates, this work is life changing.
I have helped facilitate thousands of clients make the changes they wish for, in order to live full, limitless lives.
I provide a safe, non judgemental space for you to be heard and seen. I listen to you, and support you on your journey.
Please contact me for a free, no obligation consultation to discuss where you are right now, and where you would like to be.

Member organisations
The National Council for Hypnotherapy holds one of the largest registers of independent Hypnotherapists in the United Kingdom and strives to maintain the highest standards among its members. There is an agreed Code of Conduct, an established Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure and all members are obliged to maintain comprehensive Public Liability & Professional Indemnity Insurance, maintain regular CPD (continuing professional development) hours, and attend Supervision when needed.
The CNHC encompasses many types of alternative therapy, including hypnotherapy.
In order to be admitted to the register a practitioner must have studied to the National Occupational Standards for that profession/discipline, or have reached the equivalent of the National Occupational Standards through other relevant training or at least three years of experience and been assessed by their peers.
A practitioner must also have professional insurance and agree to abide by the CNHC Code of Conduct, Performance and Ethics.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Additional information
It is important for you to know how I can help you before you decide to go ahead, and I therefore offer a free initial consultation. There is no obligation for you to book a session for further treatment. Over 20 minutes or so, we can talk about what you are seeking help for, and how I can assist. Most importantly, it gives us the opportunity to meet, and decide whether we are the right match to work together.
Sessions are approximately 75 minutes and usually a week apart. The number of sessions required can vary according to each individual and what we are working to achieve. You may expect to have between 3 and 6 sessions.
A block booking of 3 sessions is charged at £295 when booked and paid in advance.
A single session/pay as you go cost is £110.
To quit smoking I offer a single session that lasts upto 3 hours. The cost is £295.00.
I am able to provide an invoice for private insurance providers if your cover allows therapy services. Please check with your provider.

Further information
My practice located in a lovely rural setting just 10 minutes from Thornbury and the Old Severn Bridge, and 12 minutes from the Almondsbury Interchage.
Parking on the driveway is always available.
I allow upto 75 minutes per session, as experience has taught me that often the 50 to 60 minutes that many therapists work to just isn't enough.
I would never want to cut a session off mid flow because of time constraints.
