About me

Hi my name is Chris Calloway, I am an experienced and fully qualified Cognitive Hypnotherapist.

I see clients in professional comfortable surroundings. Or we can work together online via Zoom or Skype so distance is not a problem. I know that even for talented and succesful people going to see a therapist is a big decision and can be very nerve racking. I understand that.

You may have a problem with anxiety, low self confidence, a phobia, just want help to quit smoking or to feel better. I specialise in helping people make changes that builds the confidence and motivation to do what they want to do. As a Cognitive Hypnotherapist I can also help with a wide range of issues that people do not normally associate with hypnotherapy. If you think that your mind or your thoughts are involved in your problem then I can probably help.

So let me just tell you, that I know my stuff. I have a decade of experience and I work with people helping them to get results.

I am worried that I will lose control or alternatively I am worried that I won't be able to be hypnotised.
Let me put your mind at rest, because most ideas about hypnotherapy come mainly from TV or stage shows which can be misleading. You will always be fully in control and able to hear everything I say. Firstly we have a conversation, where you can talk freely in complete confidence about whatever you have been experiencing, without being judged in any way.

Hypnosis creates a communication with the subconscious mind. It's very much like creative daydreaming.

Simply put, I help people to make the changes that unlock their potential and enable them to live better lives.

I hope we can work together to help you create a happier future for yourself and I wish you success and health in whatever you choose is right for you.

Why not have a look at my website www.chriscalloway.co.uk or if you're ready then contact me to have an informal chat.

Call me on 01895 274 506 where your call comes directly to me. If I'm busy helping someone else, you only need to leave your name and number for me to return your call as soon as I am free.

Testimonials
All client's treatments and details are completely confidential but here are some comments from clients who said they were happy to have these recommendations published.

Poor self image, problems with trust, confidence and anger.

I would love to give you some feedback.
I just feel like a completely different person, I am a lot calmer, and at ease with myself. I am also happily settled in a relationship and 18 weeks pregnant. Which considering I couldn't even write my own name without cringing I think is a great step forward. So thank you very much. You helped me change my views completely.

Phobia - a fear of dentist and injection.

Chris's methods of working with me were very adaptive and he ensured he had a full knowledge of my background situation in order to adapt his approach. He has a warm relaxed style that while keeping the client therapist relationship, ensure that you feel relaxed and confident when he is working with you. He ensured that any approach and method I found non productive was relayed to him so he could change his method to ensure the maximum benefit in the time we spent working together.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Chris to anyone seeking help through the method of hypnosis. With Chris you are assured that it is 'you ' and ' your needs' that are paramount.

Smoking.

It's been 5 months now since my last cigarette - I feel better, smell better and have a couple of quid extra in my pocket! I'm really happy I have given up the evil weed (with your help!) I never thought I would be able to give up smoking, that the nicotine craving would be too strong but with the help of hypnotherapy, it wasn't the ordeal I was anticipating. The first week was hard but at no point did I want to actually pick up a cigarette and smoke it. I don't know how or why but I just don't feel the need to smoke anymore.

Panic attacks.

I recently went to see Chris Calloway for Cognitive Hypnotherapy treatment, which I am glad to say was successful. I found him to be approachable, sympathetic and easy to talk to. I would gladly recommend his techniques and treatments.

Stress and confidence.

I just felt differently after leaving your session and I started to get on and deal with the problems that I had rather than just worrying about them. I found the session very helpful and would recommend you to others. Many thanks.

Back pain.

My first hypnotherapy session with you made a fundamental difference to my life and helped me with the physical pain I was experiencing.
