---

Hi, I'm Sophie and I'm a cognitive hypnotherapist and founder of London-based mind health and wellbeing practice, The Inner.  I work with people from all walks of life on issues that have left them feeling stuck and unable to move forwards with their lives, so they can start making positive and healthier choices.

What is cognitive hypnotherapy?
Cognitive hypnotherapy is a modern, holistic and flexible approach to therapy.  It is influenced by cognitive theory, neuroscience, evolutionary psychology and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP).

A cognitive hypnotherapist will utilise a range of techniques and tools, including Timeline Regression, EMI (Eye Movement Integration), EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique also known as Tapping), among many others to equip and empower their clients to resolve and fix their own issues.

What I can help with
I can help get to the root of your problem.  People come to see me for support with a range of issues affecting the way they think and feel about things in their life, from stress and anxiety to negative behaviour and habits such as smoking and binge drinking; as well as issues related to eating, confidence and low self-esteem.

Working together
Before we agree to work together, we will have a conversation to see whether I am the right person to coach and support you.  My goal is to ensure that you progress, which is why I only work with clients if I feel confident that I can help elicit positive and lasting change.

Cognitive Hypnotherapy is an efficacious therapy that can create immediate results in a relatively short time, but key to making changes permanent are the three Cs: congruence, consistency and cumulative impact. I recommend at a minimum, clients commit to three sessions  before the effectiveness of treatment is evaluated.

What clients say about working with me
"I would recommend seeing therapist to anyone! Especially Sophie!! Taking the step to seek help is a battle in itself and from the first call Sophie was extremely understanding and showed a lot of compassion. Talking with her is extremely easy and you don’t feel rushed or the sense of ‘clock watching’. I cannot thank her enough!!
- Micah Swann, manager

"I went to see Sophie at a time in my life that I just felt at a bit of a crossroad and needed some guidance. She was fantastic and helped me find clarity and direction without any judgement or bias. Plus - she’s absolutely lovely."
- Emma Woods, events director

"I highly recommend Sophie - I had one session with her to help me quit smoking and it really worked!"
- Mark Sainthill, M&A consultant
