About me
Hi, I'm Ralph Varcoe, a clinical hypnotherapist based in Wimbledon, South West London. I am a Certified Trainer of Master Hypnosis, Master NLP and Master Time Line Therapy®. Not only do I see clients privately, helping them use their unconscious resources to make the changes they seek, but I also train many people in how to become great hypnotists themselves.
As a Certified Trainer of Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy (certified by the American Board of Hypnotherapy - ABH), I not only have experience in treating clients for many conditions but also have a profound understanding and practice of the art of being a truly effective hypnotist.
In addition to Hypnotherapy, I am a Certified Trainer of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and a Certified Trainer of Time Line Therapy®, as well as a Master NLP Coach trainer.
I am certified in MINDSCAPING, an advantageous system to uncover and unblock obstacles in your path. I therefore take a blended approach to therapy, using the most effective techniques at the right time to achieve the lasting changes you want.
In some of the programmes (Stop Smoking or Weight Management, for example), I'll also use FasterEFT techniques to help deal with cravings effectively.
It's all about you, and the therapeutic tools I'll use will be combined to set you up for the best possible outcome.
Some issues can be addressed in a single session. Others may need a few. But my overarching philosophy is that the therapy should be brief and effective - it's not in your interests to have many sessions (it's costly and time-consuming).
That's why I'll focus on helping you reach your goals in as few sessions as possible, which is not the case for all therapists.
I am registered on the GHR - General Hypnosis Register, and am an Accredited Practitioner on the Central Register of Stop Smoking Therapists (CRSST).

Member organisations
Hypnotherapists may become members of the General Hypnotherapy Register if they satisfy certain criteria with regard to both training and ongoing requirements as determined from time to time by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC). Members are either registered at Practitioner status (which confirms that the GHR acknowledges their qualification to practice), or Affiliate status. Although Affiliate level registrants will have completed a sufficient number of training hours to equip them to commence seeing clients on a limited basis, the GHR does not acknowledge them to have yet been trained to full practitioner level. All GHR Registered Practitioners are required to accept the published Code of Ethics and Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure.
