Odysseus Hypnotherapy - Philip Roberts
About me
Philip Roberts of Odysseus Hypnotherapy is a proponent of evidence based practice. His studies in the field have lead him to examine the empirical evidence supporting therapeutic interventions in clinical hypnotherapy and integrating the best research evidence into the decision making process for client care.
Philip offers a confidential service from a private, comfortable and well appointed consultation room in Bedfordshire, England. With good road and rail access, it is well situated for visiting clients based in Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire and London. With video-conferencing becoming a popular mode of conducting hypnotherapy sessions, Philip is also experienced in delivering hypnotherapy sessions via Skype to national and international clients.
A free 30 minute initial consultation is provided by phone or Skype. This gives you an opportunity to ask any questions you may have, find out more about hypnosis and discuss the issue you need help with.
Training, qualifications & experience
Philip holds the Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma (HPD). Philip has undertaken further studies and training with the Anglo European College of Therapeutic Hypnosis leading to certification as a Clinical Hypnotherapist and has trained and qualified as a Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). He is a member by qualification of National Council for Hypnotherapy and is registered with The Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council.

There is an agreed Code of Conduct, an established Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure and all members are obliged to maintain comprehensive Public Liability & Professional Indemnity Insurance, maintain regular CPD (continuing professional development) hours, and attend Supervision when needed.
Accredited register membership

Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Hypnotherapy can enhance the well-being of individuals diagnosed with serious medical conditions, but should not take the place of medical treatment and advice.
