About me

I combine the practices of Integrative Counselling and Hypnotherapy to bring about understanding, self-awareness and profound healing.

Hypnotherapy and Counselling are profoundly entwined. Hypnotherapy allows you to access information stored in your subconscious mind that is having an impact on your daily emotions and experiences. Once that information is brought up to the surface, I use counselling tools to challenge the thought process and the emotional conditioning that has stopped you from achieving your highest potential.

This therapeutic approach can be used for a few sessions only, to work on issues such as smoking cessation, insomnia, stress management or phobias.

It is also incredibly powerful to go into a deeper level of healing, where we can rescue the wounded inner child within us and find peace for profound fears and anxieties that have a powerful impact in your relationship with yourself, with others and with your environment.
My aim is to help you become self-empowered and free from the mental conditioning that is not working for you. My approach teaches clients self-worth and gives you the tools to learn to love who you are and achieve a sense of wellbeing and inner peace.

This process is about you, about who you are, who you want to become and how to learn to love yourself in every aspect of your being. If you are struggling, call me for a free initial consultation, there is no obligation to book a session afterwards and you will be heard.

The General Hypnotherapy Register

Hypnotherapists may become members of the General Hypnotherapy Register if they satisfy certain criteria with regard to both training and ongoing requirements as determined from time to time by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC).

Members are either registered at Practitioner status (which confirms that the GHR acknowledges their qualification to practice), or Affiliate status. Although Affiliate level registrants will have completed a sufficient number of training hours to equip them to commence seeing clients on a limited basis, the GHR does not acknowledge them to have yet been trained to full practitioner level.

All GHR Registered Practitioners are required to accept the published Code of Ethics and Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure.

Information about health conditions (*)

Hypnotherapy can enhance the well-being of individuals diagnosed with serious medical conditions, but should not take the place of medical treatment and advice. If you have been diagnosed with - or suspect you may have - any of these conditions, please speak to your doctor before starting hypnotherapy.

Other areas of hypnotherapy I deal with

Inner Child Work (Analytical Hypnotherapy): This profound work will help you reconnect with your inner child and heal past areas of your life that need gentleness and care. This is profound therapeutic work and it will also assist you in learning how to love your self.

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a hypnotherapist's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the hypnotherapist to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
