About me
Hello, I'm Liza.
Are you feeling stressed, anxious or finding it difficult to switch off? Perhaps a fear is holding you back, you're recovering from illness, or you're simply tired of feeling like life is getting on top of you.
I'm a Solutions-Focused Hypnotherapist and Hypno-EMDR practitioner. I help people move beyond stress, anxiety and fears so they can feel calmer, think more clearly, sleep better and enjoy life with greater confidence.
Whether you're coping with workplace pressure, a phobia that's limiting your life, recovering from illness or trying to break an unwanted habit, my approach is compassionate, practical and tailored to you.
How I can help
Many of the clients who come to me are looking for support with:
- Stress, anxiety and overwhelm
- Better sleep
- Fear of flying
- Fear of heights and other phobias
- Smoking and vaping cessation
- Chronic illness, recovery and emotional wellbeing
- Building confidence and resilience
My approach
I combine solutions-focused hypnotherapy with Hypno-EMDR and evidence-based behavioural approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT), desensitisation techniques and ego strengthening. Together these approaches help reduce anxious thinking, calm the body's stress response and create lasting behavioural change.
What it's like to work with me
Every session is collaborative and tailored to you. You’ll be actively involved in the process, learning practical tools you can continue using long after our sessions have finished.
What clients have achieved:
Fear of Flying
One client who completed my Flying with Confidence programme said they now felt "far better equipped to deal with anxious thoughts" and were able to reach a sense of calm much more quickly. They finally felt free to travel again and visit loved ones.
Smoking Cessation
Clients who have stopped smoking with my support describe feeling healthier, calmer and more energised. One client said they felt "more relaxed and better able to deal with life's challenges," while sleeping better, eating more healthily and enjoying the freedom of being smoke-free.
Living with Chronic Illness
I also support clients coping with the ongoing mental, emotional and physical impact of chronic illness, recovery and persistent pain. One client recovering from breast cancer and spinal surgery described feeling calmer, more like herself again and more in control of both her pain and emotional wellbeing after six weeks together.
Why choose me?
When you're looking for support, it's important to find someone you feel comfortable talking to.
Clients often tell me they value my calm, practical and compassionate approach. Rather than offering a one-size-fits-all solution, I take time to understand what's going on for you and tailor every session to your individual needs.
Drawing on over a decade of experience in hypnotherapy, yoga and wellbeing, I combine evidence-based techniques with genuine empathy to help you move forward with greater confidence and ease.
Ready to take the next step?
Taking the first step can often feel like the hardest part. If you're ready to explore how hypnotherapy or Hypno-EMDR could help, I'd be delighted to hear from you. Together, we can discuss what's been holding you back and how we can help you move forward.

What to expect
Taking the first step can feel daunting, especially if you've never experienced hypnotherapy before.
Our first session is an opportunity to explore what's brought you here, what you'd like to achieve and any questions you may have. Together we'll agree a personalised plan, working at a pace that feels right for you.
No two clients are the same, so every programme is tailored to your individual needs and goals.
How many sessions will I need?
The number of sessions varies depending on what you'd like help with.
Some issues, such as smoking cessation or a specific phobia, may be resolved in just a few sessions, while longer-standing concerns such as anxiety, stress or the impact of illness may benefit from a longer programme of support.
We'll discuss this together and review your progress as we go.
My philosophy
I believe that lasting change happens when you feel safe, understood and actively involved in the process.
My role isn't simply to help you feel better during our sessions, but to equip you with practical techniques and greater confidence so that you can continue moving forward long after our work together has finished.
