About me
I am a qualified hypnotherapist practising from a therapy centre, which is set in a secluded courtyard in a semi-rural location just outside Stansted covering surrounding areas.
My intention is to provide a caring and non-judgmental approach for you to feel fully supported and understood as I assist you in helping yourself to understand the present, explore and resolve the past and securely make the necessary changes for you to move positively into the future.
My background
With experience in the past as a yoga teacher, it became clear that the passion I had to want to assist students in looking after themselves mentally and physically - practicing postures and mindfulness led me to exploring the path of hypnotherapy and counselling, I know how life presents challenges and hurdles along the way and that sometimes it can be incredibly hard to understand yourself and find relief from the mind chatter that causes suffering, hindering us from being the authentic person that we really are to simply just get on with life.
Training, qualifications & experience
I trained with Chrysalis (not for profit Ltd) in Cambridgeshire and I hold a Diploma in Hypnotherapy and Counselling Skills (Cert Hyp CS), AIM Awards Level 3 Certificate in Hypnotherapy and Counselling Skills (QCF), Chrysalis Diploma in Counselling Skills and Theory (Dip CST) and Advanced Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling (Ad Dip Psy C)
I am a member of the National Hypnotherapy and Counselling Societies working within the Code of Conduct and Ethics that are stated by these awarding bodies providing a professional service within a therapeutic practice.
I am in regular supervision and have Professional Civil Liability Insurance.
