About me

Hi I’m Kesia, I’m a behavioural change and emotional well-being specialist with over 20 years’ experience in change work.

An Integrative, clinical Hypnotherapist and Counsellor supporting my clients by offering a 2 in 1 approach to change. Using a mixture of hypnotherapy and counselling techniques, I create a unique solution-focused behavioural change-treatment plan based on your individual needs to get to the root of the issues, that get you the results you want and need. I am committed to assisting you achieve those positive outcomes and enable you to achieve life-changing behaviours.

I created Insight Hypnotherapy-Counselling practice to help people like yourself find peace, fulfilment and happiness in their lives by resolving issues that are troubling. With a friendly and relaxed practice both face to face and remotely where you will be assured of a warm, welcoming and professional service in line with high standards and Code of Ethics.

My journey over the years has seen me work with many clients who have made great successful life changes in many differing areas. I feel that everyone that comes to me has the abilities they need in order to learn the skills and techniques to achieve the kind of life they want and I can assist them in realising/accessing this for themselves.

Having 20 years plus experience I am qualified in Advanced Hypnotherapy and Clinical Hypnotherapy. I also hold qualifications in Counselling, Addictions therapy and Mindfulness therapy, Clinical and Management Supervision plus much more.

I have worked within many differing organisations from clinical settings, hospices, GP's surgeries, hospitals, children's residential units, prisons, bail hostels, women refuses, rehabilitation units, private addiction centres, community Charities and of course my own private practice.

The General Hypnotherapy Register

Hypnotherapists may become members of the General Hypnotherapy Register if they satisfy certain criteria with regard to both training and ongoing requirements as determined from time to time by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC).

Members are either registered at Practitioner status (which confirms that the GHR acknowledges their qualification to practice), or Affiliate status. Although Affiliate level registrants will have completed a sufficient number of training hours to equip them to commence seeing clients on a limited basis, the GHR does not acknowledge them to have yet been trained to full practitioner level.

All GHR Registered Practitioners are required to accept the published Code of Ethics and Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure.

Hypnotherapy - counselling = £60 per 1hour session. Book and pay for 4 session in advance, discounted = £200

GastricHypnoBand = 4 sessions at £260

Beautiful Births hypnotherapy = 6 sessions £300 for mom and birthing partner

Stop Smoking = 2 sessions at £160

A free 15 minute initial phone session is available before booking any sessions.

During Covid whist working remotely there will be a 10% discount on all sessions.

Further information

In light of the current situation with COVID-19 I’ll be seeing all clients remotely until further notice. This is to protect the health and wellbeing of us all during this time. Working remotely is just as effective as seeing clients in my therapy rooms. So why not use this enforced downtime to sort out something that’s been bothering you or limiting your life in some way. Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a hypnotherapist's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.
