About me

As a Therapist, I am privileged to be able to help others transform their lives.  I provide therapeutic support in overcoming emotional and mental health issues, and reducing and managing stress and anxiety, so that you can enjoy a life that is happier, healthier, and longer.

With particular expertise in anxiety issues and stress management, I believe that everyone has the ability to reduce and manage their stress and anxiety.  I am wholly committed to supporting people transform themselves by developing this ability because this transformation is essential for human health, happiness and longevity.

I do this is by understanding that people are individuals and working accordingly, and I disprove the myth that stress or anxiety is weakness.  I show that both admitting to and dealing with stress and anxiety, proactively and positively, is in fact, a great strength of the human spirit.

Taking a multi-faceted approach, I help my clients identify and deal with the cause of their stress and anxiety, and teach practical tools they need to reduce and manage it permanently.  This has an incredibly positive impact on their lives and wellbeing, and that of the people around them.

I tailor how I work to best suit you and your needs.  This may involve a variety of techniques, such as Hypnotherapy, Talking therapy, CBT, EFT, NLP, psycho-coaching, Life Coaching, Mindfulness, and so on.

My services include one to one therapy, I run an online Stress Management Solutions Programme for individuals and groups, and I host Anxiety Management and Support Groups in my local area.

Before I became a Therapist, I was a solicitor, so I have long corporate and management which enables me to work well with businesses.  I provide corporate and private training and workshops in mental health issues and Stress Management at Work.  Where necessary, I consult in devising and implementing an effective, economical, and robust Stress Management Strategy in order to help the business decrease its absence and staff turnover costs, and increase productivity.

Please do not hesitate to contact me directly for an initial chat, and we can take things forward from there should you wish.

Training, qualifications & experience

I trained with the London College of Clinical Hypnosis, in tandem with the University of West London, gaining a Distinction in my Post Graduate Certificate in Clinical Hypnotherapy.  My training covered many different aspects of Psychotherapy including CBT, NLP, Mindfulness, Counselling, as well as Clinical Hypnotherapy.

My EFT training was with Masha Bennett, (AAMET Master Trainer), in EFT Levels 1 and 2, and I am working towards full accreditation status.

My training continues as I remain vigilant in expanding my learning and keeping up to date with developments in the psycho-therapeutic world.

I have gained significant practical experience in training and presenting throughout my legal career, which I put to good use now in my training and workshop based coaching sessions for individuals and groups.

I am a member of the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis and AAMET International.
