I am a qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist, Life Coach and Mindfulness Teacher living and working in North Staffordshire. I will work with you in a relaxed and friendly manner and my aim is to help you to achieve your desired goal. I offer a free 20-30 minute consultation as it is important for you to find the right therapist for you and to be able to ask any questions you may have before making your decision.
I have always been interested in the way our minds work and ways in which we can change and adopt more positive thinking. Hypnotherapy felt so right and positive for me that I began my training at the Central England College in Birmingham and straight away felt that it was something I had spent my whole life looking for. I also have my Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma from the National Council of Hypnotherapists, of which I am a Registered Member.
I decided that Life Coaching blended in very well with the Hypnotherapy and gave me additional tools and techniques to empower people to be in control of their minds, emotional states and lives. My Level 5 Diploma allows me to assist you in identifying and overcoming obstacles in a way that allows you to transform your life in a positive way.
WHAT IS HYPNOTHERAPY
Hypnotherapy is a client centred talking therapy that utilises the power of positive suggestion to bring about subconscious change to our thoughts, feelings and behaviours.
When you are in a state of relaxation, the conscious mind becomes less active, this happens naturally when you are completely absorbed in a book or a movie. In this state, you are more able to turn your attention inward to find your own internal resources that can help you to make the changes you want, to overcome challenges, achieve goals and improve your well-being.
You are still aware of what you say and do during hypnosis and remain in complete control. All hypnosis is self-hypnosis, I help to guide you and provide positive suggestions for beneficial change.
Life Coaching is an empowering experience, where you will learn ways to break negative belief patterns, organize your priorities and decide which direction you want to take. I provide you with tools to help you to learn how to deal with present and future situations, enabling you to have the power to help yourself to overcome your personal challenge. I will help you to make, meet and exceed personal and professional goals. These can be in the workplace, becoming happier and more fulfilled at home, exploring your potential and achieving your ambitions.
Control of the breath and meditation can calm the mind and enhance relaxation. Practising mindfulness helps you to become more aware of your thoughts and feelings so that instead of being overwhelmed by them, you're better able to manage them.
I continue my personal development to improve my knowledge and skills through reading and attending further courses. My training and knowledge has given me an expansive toolbox in which to find a personal solution for you and I am looking forward to helping you to move forward with the positive changes you want in your life.

I saw Karen a few weeks ago now after deciding that a lifetime of drinking and smoking too much had to be addressed. We tackled the drinking first. A half hour chat and two hour sessions later and I’ve not touched a drop of the hard stuff for almost 3 weeks. Anyone who knows me will agree that it’s a minor miracle!!!! I feel so much better in myself and I’m loving the sober feeling. Seriously, i know it sounds corny but if I can stop drinking and smoking anything is possible.
