I am a qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist, Life Coach and Mindfulness Teacher living and working in North Staffordshire. I will work with you in a relaxed and friendly manner and my aim is to help you to achieve your desired goal. I offer a free 20-30 minute consultation as it is important for you to find the right therapist for you and to be able to ask any questions you may have before making your decision.
Throughout my life I have always enjoyed helping people and I decided that the best way forward would be to become a Life Coach. This, I felt, would give me the professional underpinning to assist clients in identifying and overcoming obstacles in a way that would allow them to transform their life in a positive way. A Coach will help you unravel your thoughts to clarify your Goals, think about your current Reality, see clearly your Options and establish your Will to complete your journey.
My studies led me to become more interested in the way our minds work and ways in which we can change and adopt more positive thinking. The natural next step was to engage in further study. Hypnotherapy felt so right and positive for me that I began my training at the Central England College in Birmingham and straight away felt that it was something I had spent my whole life looking for.
WHAT IS HYPNOTHERAPY
Hypnotherapy is a client centred talking therapy that utilises the power of positive suggestion to bring about subconscious change to our thoughts, feelings and behaviours.
When you are in a state of relaxation, the conscious mind becomes less active, this happens naturally when you are completely absorbed in a book or a movie. In this state, you are more able to turn your attention inward to find your own internal resources that can help you to make the changes you want, to overcome challenges, achieve goals and improve your well-being.
You are still aware of what you say and do during hypnosis and remain in complete control. All hypnosis is self-hypnosis, I help to guide you and provide positive suggestions for beneficial change.
I have practised yoga for several years and am conscious of the beneficial role that breathing and meditation, intrinsic features of yoga, can bring. Control of the breath and meditation can calm the mind and enhance relaxation. Recognising these benefits, I enrolled on a Mindfulness Teacher Training Course, practising mindfulness helps you to become more aware of your thoughts and feelings so that instead of being overwhelmed by them, you're better able to manage them.
I continue my personal development to improve my knowledge and skills through reading and attending further courses. My training and knowledge has given me an expansive toolbox in which to find a personal solution for you and I am looking forward to helping you to move forward with the positive changes you want in your life.

The Free informal 30 minute consultation gives you the opportunity to ask any questions or discuss any concerns you may have regarding hypnotherapy, coaching or mindfulness.
