About me

Hello 👋🏼

My journey to becoming a therapist

My career and life have taken many twists and turns, always with a focus on safety and personal development. Whether it involves supporting a young person in engaging with education, employment, or everyday life; helping someone to leave an abusive relationship; or ensuring the safety of groups, each scenario requires awareness, effective communication, and careful analysis—all delivered with a flexible, caring, and empathetic approach.

Over twenty-five years ago, I became deeply interested in self-awareness and personal growth. I trained as a counsellor and applied these skills throughout my day-to-day roles. Fifteen years later, I expanded my expertise by training as an NLP practitioner, timeline therapist, life coach, and hypnotherapist—each course enriching my practice with valuable skills.

In early 2024, I revisited my hypnotherapy training by enrolling in another course. This experience helped me refine my techniques and ultimately gave me the confidence to open my own practice as a therapist.

I blend these diverse skills to fuse therapies that are tailored to each individual’s needs, offering encouragement and motivation through a flexible, caring, and empathetic approach that honours every person’s uniqueness.

Thank you for reading my profile if you have got this far, and I look forward to speaking with you soon.

Hypnotherapists may become members of the General Hypnotherapy Register if they satisfy certain criteria with regard to both training and ongoing requirements as determined from time to time by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC). Members are either registered at Practitioner status (which confirms that the GHR acknowledges their qualification to practice), or Affiliate status. Although Affiliate level registrants will have completed a sufficient number of training hours to equip them to commence seeing clients on a limited basis, the GHR does not acknowledge them to have yet been trained to full practitioner level. All GHR Registered Practitioners are required to accept the published Code of Ethics and Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure.

                                                     A Few Testimonials

I recently had a few therapy sessions with Jules . She was calm relaxed and explained in detail about what would take place through the sessions her approach made me look at my behaviours and gave me a greater understanding of me and how protecting my boundaries and looking after me highly recommend for anyone seeking support and therapy thankyou jules. D.O. Bishops Stortford, Hertfordshire

I have had sleep problems for more years than I care to count. Julie has helped enormously. My sleep is better and if I do wake up at silly o'clock I am now more able to go back to sleep. Although initially I was reluctant to try hypnotherapy online, l have to say it has worked wonders and fitted in better with my busy life. Not only the hypnotherapy but just talking to someone neutral about my sleep issues, Julie. thank vou! L.E. Watford, Herts

Jules was really good at calming me down and helping me gain clarity on my situation. She asked really key questions that I never thought to ask myself. I'm extremely grateful to Jules for her coaching; each time she's spoken with me, she's really helped me change my mindset. I feel much more positive about my future and what I need to do. I also got given one key piece of homework to build my self-esteem, which I can't wait to do next! M.F. Tooting, South London
