About me

Do you have uncomfortable feelings like anxiety, self-doubt and imminent failure?

Do you have negative thoughts that bring you down and affect your life?

Does your behaviour affect you living your life to the full, like avoiding certain situations and people?

Maybe you've done loads of research or have spoken to lots of people about how you're feeling but you're still uncomfortable, worried and not in the place you want to be in. Or perhaps it's the opposite and you're so distressed about your thoughts, feelings and behaviours that you're too scared to tell anyone. Whatever your journey has been so far, I believe that there's a solution out there for you.

Hypnotherapy is a solution focused approach. You communicate what your goals are or what changes you want to make in your life and I offer targeted, empathic and intuitive therapy to help you achieve what you want to. We start off with a complimentary consultation, this can be done over the phone or zoom. The therapy itself is very structured with tailored sessions for your individual needs. I work face to face or over zoom.

Although I treat a wide range of issues in my practice I specialise in treating anxiety and self esteem issues. I chose these areas as my specialism because I know what it's like to have all of those thoughts and feelings. I've suffered with a severe anxiety and panic disorder as well as imposter syndrome. I sought therapy and now I'm living proof of the fact that you can recover from whatever is holding you back through focused, professional therapy.  I know every trick in the book anxiety will play and I will never, ever judge you for those thoughts and feelings you're having. I've been there, I know what it's like and I got better. Now I help other people overcome their issues and move on with their lives and achieve their goals.  Hypnotherapy can be absolutely life changing!

I set up Cloud9 Therapy in 2012. I'm based at Chelmsford Therapy Rooms - a therapist membership organisation and private therapy clinic I set up in 2015. My businesses have won multiple awards and I'm so very proud to have helped so many people throughout the 10+ years that I've been in full time private practice.

I'm qualified to Diploma level (with distinction) in Hypnotherapy and Advanced Diploma level in Counselling and Psychotherapy. I'm a member of the National Hypnotherapy Society and the National Counselling Society. I'm also a qualified Mnemodynamic Therapist and through my extensive CPD training, research and reading I am able to offer many other coping techniques and approaches to help you reach your goal.

Please note I do not specialise in children and therefore do not treat anyone under the age of 18.
