Training, qualifications & experience
Ian is a Chrysalis trained hypnotherapist who specializes in working with people who wish to dramatically improve their lives. Ian holds a diploma in counselling and hypnotherapy, an Advanced hypnotherapy diploma and is a National Leader of Governance working with schools to raise the level of education. Ian has further trained in cognitive behaviour therapy. Ian recently gained a diploma in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and NLP.
National Hypnotherapy Society
The National Hypnotherapy Society is a Learned Society whose primary purpose is the advancement of the knowledge of hypnotherapy and the fostering of professional hypnotherapy expertise through training, accreditation and continued professional development of their members. The Society seeks to contribute to public wellbeing both through the use of hypnotherapy and by ensuring that hypnotherapists are safe, competent and ethical in practice.
National Council for Hypnotherapy
The National Council for Hypnotherapy holds one of the largest registers of independent Hypnotherapists in the United Kingdom and strives to maintain the highest standards among its members.
There is an agreed Code of Conduct, an established Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure and all members are obliged to maintain comprehensive Public Liability & Professional Indemnity Insurance, maintain regular CPD (continuing professional development) hours, and attend Supervision when needed.
