About me

Hi, I’m Dr Eshan; a practising NHS GP. I have 20 years of medical consultation experience which I combine with NLP, hypnotherapy and other techniques to offer safe, trusted and bespoke consultations that work.

“Dr Eshan is a true professional, he is kind, patient and above all was very effective in helping me to free myself of sabotaging behaviours that I had previously believed to be helping me, I cannot thank him enough.”

Let me help you move forwards with your life, especially if you have tried other treatments or therapies and nothing's worked for you yet.

Contact me today for a free 15-minute phone or online consultation and find out if I’m the right person for you.

My approach

* Hypnotherapy * Personal effectiveness counselling * Timeline therapy * NLP therapy * GP consults

I work with you to understand your thinking and behaviour patterns, emotional state and goals. I use this understanding to help you strengthen the skills that work well for you while guiding you to develop new and positive thougths and behaviours. This process will help you achieve and go beyond goals that we set together.

We work together to create a plan for yourself that fits with what you would like to achieve in your life, whether that is freedom from upsetting thoughts or fears, relief from lingering physical symptoms or simply helping you to reach a life goal, improve self-esteem or strengthen relationships.

I offer a combination of guided treatments and coaching, including Timeline therapy and hypnotherapy.

Unlike counselling, my  sessions are future focussed to enable you to get to where you need to be, rather than on re-living the pains of the past.

“I had a 4 hour breakthrough session with Eshan during which I was pleasantly surprised what limiting beliefs I was holding on to. His in-depth questioning helped me to open up and discover my strengths as well as my weaknesses on the chosen subject. With Eshan's gentle guidance and his techniques I cleared some negative emotions which enabled me to gain more confidence and most importantly - clarity. I was so light after the session! I knew exactly what I had to do. In the next 2 days I took some long delayed steps, which led me to new opportunities. I made some drastic and brave decisions which I can honestly say would have not happened at that moment in time if I did not have the session. I highly recommend Eshan!”

I am registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) and am a member of both the Royal College of Surgeons of Glasgow and of the Royal College of General Practitioners.

I am a working NHS GP, Hypnotherapist and Life and Career Coach. My NHS practice is in Lambeth, South London, and I live in Surrey, with my family.

As a GP, I have been trained to assess your situation from a medical perspective. I combine this with all I have learnt as a hypnotherapist to enable me to understand you from both a medical and non-medical perspective giving me a truly holistic picture of you, and how to help you.  This is a powerful tool I use to enable my clients to achieve the outcomes you want.

Early on in my medical training I realised that often, by exploring a person's emotions and behaviours, I would help them get better,  before ever needing to turn to medication or complicated treatments. I wanted to deepen this skill to reach people who had felt frustrated, unheard or un-helped. I trained as an NLP, timeline therapy and hypnotherapy master practitioner and find that this knowledge compliments my practice, and am now able to transform the lives of people who, previously had no way forward.

I offer this service to many of the patients and clients at my NHS practice that need it and take referrals from other specialists.

I have a particular interest in FND and am a registered member of the Functional Neurological Disease Society ( FNDS)

I see hypnosis clients privately in my consulting rooms, in Stockwell and Surrey. I have also undertaken sessions online since the pandemic and am happy to see you online if that is preferable.

“…I just wanted to let you know that I booked a flight! I'll be heading to Sicily at the end of September on my honeymoon, and while I'm not excited about the flight, I am focusing on the prospect of the Italian food and the relaxation - that part I am definitely looking forward to! So, I also wanted to say thank you so much for your help with this - it has really meant a lot. I really couldn't have imagined booking a flight without feeling sheer panic when I first came to see you”

“I found the sessions particularly useful as they encouraged me to engage with - and isolate - my emotions in a way I had never considered doing before. I am now able to match any heart palpitations I might have with anger or frustration I might feel at being asked to complete an activity. In providing myself with a reason for the palpitations it appears I am able to rapidly curtail any palpitation sensations I previously had. Of course, it is impossible to say whether it is definitely anger which has caused them, but irrespective of this I feel I have found a way to manage the palpitations and that is the most important thing.”

  • Low self-esteem, confidence
  • Achieving goals, settings goals, motivation, procrastination

“…I didn’t feel the nerves at all. I actually really enjoyed the day and lots of people came to me at the end to say well done. A few people even asked me what my secret was! Thank you so much for helping me to realise my potential Dr Eshan.”
