About me
A woman in your 40s, you may be feeling like you are going through a full-blown identity crisis. Or just living with a general sense of unease about who you are and where you are going. You may be unsure about what the issue is as this is often masked by other signs and symptoms (such as anxiety and low mood, stress, low self-esteem, and low self-confidence).
You may be childless, childfree or without a child. By choice, chance or circumstance. You may be struggling to conceive. You may be an exhausted parent or carer. Looking after a child or an ageing parent.
Are you divorced? Dating? Given up on relationships? Family life and relationships are often tough for women over 40.
Stagnation and discrimination at work may be another big issue for you. You may be torn between a strong desire for a career change and financial constraints, such as debts and trying to save for retirement.
It's complicated.
But we can begin to entangle it here. This space is for you.
We can use various tools to provide immediate short-term relief through relaxation and quick copying strategies. We can then use other techniques to dig deeper to uncover the new you.

Experience: CBT- and mindfulness-based hypnotherapy (private practice), talking therapies (NHS), neurodiversity and specific learning difficulties (education).
Training: Dip Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy, PgCert CBT, MA Education.
Membership: Federation of Holistic Therapists, British Psychological Society, Sandplay Therapists of America.
