About me

Clinical Hypnotherapy with Psychotherapy near Sittingbourne, Kent.

If anxiety, grief, trauma or overwhelming emotions are affecting your life, you don’t have to face them alone.

I’m Deborah Clay, a Clinical Hypnotherapist and Advanced EFT Practitioner, offering compassionate, evidence-based therapy to help you overcome anxiety, panic attacks, trauma, grief, fears and unwanted habits.

I provide a calm, supportive and non-judgemental space where you can begin to understand what is keeping you stuck and work towards meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.

Each session is tailored to your individual needs, using an integrative approach that may include Clinical Hypnotherapy, Psychotherapy, EFT (Tapping), Rewind Trauma Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy and Hypnoanalysis.

I support adults experiencing anxiety, panic attacks, trauma (PTSD and Complex PTSD), grief and bereavement, stress, fears, phobias and unwanted habits such as smoking or emotional eating.

My work is grounded in both professional training and lived experience of grief, trauma and emotional loss. I understand how overwhelming these experiences can feel, and I aim to provide a calm, supportive space where you feel safe, heard and understood.

Alongside my clinical training, I bring experience from working in high-pressure emergency services, which has strengthened my ability to stay calm, listen deeply and support people through distressing situations.

My private therapy room is based in Newington, near Sittingbourne and Rainham in Kent, offering a quiet and confidential environment for face-to-face sessions.

I also offer online therapy sessions via Zoom for clients across the UK, providing flexible support wherever you are.

Taking the first step into therapy can feel difficult, but change often begins the moment you decide you’re ready for support.
