About me

I am a highly experienced hypnotherapist and psychotherapist, with consulting rooms in Epsom, Surrey and at Waterloo. My approach is founded in the belief that every person is unique and because of this therapy must be tailored to the individual person.

Some people want to work quickly, some more slowly, and some people are not sure what they want or need and hence need a safe environment in which to explore their best route forward.

I work with teenagers and adults across a very wide range of issues - from habit change to resolving deep trauma. I am also a volunteer therapist for Anxiety UK - a national charity which provides access to low-cost therapy. In addition I am a former Trustee of the charity.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a UKPC registered hypo-psychotherapist, which means my training in hypnotherapy was extensive (registration requires a minimum of 4 years post-graduate training). I am also a Master Practitioner in Neuro-linguistic Programming and an EMDR trained therapist (EMDR is the approach of choice for treating post traumatic stress disorder).

I abide by the Code of Ethics of UKCP (the largest organisation of registered psychotherapists and counsellors) and as part of this commitment have regular clinical supervision.

I am a Fellow of the National Society of Hypnosis, Psychotherapy and Mindfulness and registered with the UK Council for Psychotherapy (Registration Number: 2011162199).

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a hypnotherapist's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the hypnotherapist to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
