About me

For some people anxiety looks like panic. For others it looks like never feeling good enough, always wondering if what they're experiencing is normal, holding back in relationships, going quiet when they would want to speak up, compulsive behaviour or pushing through everything until they're exhausted.

Training, qualifications & experience

I'm an Anxiety Therapist working with Hypnotherapy with a psychotherapeutic lens for anxiety, panic attacks, fears and patterns people can't seem to change no matter how many times they've tried.

If you have struggled with your mental health you've probably tried to think your way out of it. And you've probably noticed that knowing why you feel this way doesn't stop the feeling.

That's where hypnotherapy comes in.

Feelings live in the part of our mind that doesn't respond to logic, the part that fires off alarm signals before you've even had a chance to think. Hypnotherapy works directly with that part.

In a calm, focused state, we teach your brain that the things it's been treating as threats: being judged, failing, being alone, not being enough, places or sensations aren't dangerous.

By applying a psychotherapeutic frame to the sessions you've got the benefit of having the sessions adapted to you, and making sure that change isn't just a quick fix, but lasts beyond our sessions with tools (including self hypnosis) that you can take into your daily life.

If you are tired of going around in circles, get in touch with me and let's work together to help you move forward.
