About me

I work with people who are tired of anxiety getting in the way of their life.

You might know exactly where your anxiety started, perhaps after a difficult experience, illness or period of prolonged stress. Or you might simply know that somewhere along the way, things that used to feel normal have started to feel difficult.

Sometimes anxiety is general and seems to affect everything. Other times it becomes attached to something very specific - flying, heights, needles, spiders or a particular situation. Whatever form it takes, when fear starts making decisions about what you can and can’t do, it can have a much bigger impact on your life than other people realise.

You may find yourself avoiding situations, worrying about how you will cope, feeling constantly on edge or becoming very aware of physical symptoms. Sometimes people tell me they just don’t feel like themselves anymore and want to find a way back to the person they were before anxiety took over.

My approach is warm, practical and very much tailored to the individual. I use clinical hypnotherapy alongside techniques including EMDR and EFT, helping you work with both the thoughts behind anxiety and the physical response that can make it feel so overwhelming.

I don’t believe therapy should feel like something that is simply being done to you. I want you to understand what is happening, feel comfortable with the process and recognise the progress you are making along the way.

For me, the aim isn’t to promise a life where you never feel anxious. It’s to help anxiety stop making the decisions for you - so you can begin trusting yourself again, feel more in control and get back to doing the things that matter to you.
