What are sessions with me like?
In the first session, we will talk in depth about your situation and what you would like to achieve. This time spent in getting to know you is important as every session is tailored to your specific needs so I need to listen well to work out the most effective way to help you.
Once you are feeling relaxed and comfortable and I have explained what I will be doing and why, we will begin the actual treatment. Once the mind is relaxed, we can really begin transforming the thoughts, beliefs and behaviours that have been holding you back or causing you discomfort. I have a collaborative approach, which means that I will ask you questions throughout the process, getting feedback from you about how you are responding.
The sessions involve deep work and my clients often report being amazed at the profound insights and changes that are possible in a single session.
After 23 years of working, I am convinced that we all have an inner self that knows exactly what we want and how to get it - in a way that is not harmful to you, your well-being, or others. When fear is no longer blocking you from listening to that wise inner voice you will find you have all the answers to any problem you will ever have. I will help you to let go of the fear and listen to that wise inner knowing.

I have a sense of humour and friendly personality. I am skilled at supporting those who need reassurance too. It is not uncommon to feel nervous before the first session and I know that it can take courage to face your fears. So if you are nervous, don't let it stop you from getting the help you deserve. I will look after you.
With a degree in psychology and trained in clinical hypnotherapy and stress management, I offer traditional hypnotherapy treatments. However, I also have a belief that we operate on many levels, including the spiritual level. I can, therefore, offer sessions to those who wish to explore ideas such as past life experience, spiritual coaching (exploring your true nature, ego mind and listening to your higher self) manifestation and conscious creation. The choice is yours.
Particular areas of expertise include: anxiety, fear of illness/dying, quitting smoking, panic attacks, weight loss, depression, stress (including PTSD), body confidence, family stress, anger management, relationship issues, self-esteem, phobias, conflict resolution and working with children.
By following continuous professional development, I have constantly updated my skills and knowledge. I have a wealth of strategies, techniques and psychological understanding that combined with hypnosis are incredibly powerful; for example, mindfulness can be developed more rapidly through exploration of thoughts under hypnosis followed by hypnotic suggestions of noticing, accepting and letting go of unwanted thoughts.

I have been on too many training courses to list here. All of them have been valuable in one way or another. However, I truly feel that the greatest teacher has been the shared experience of working with my clients.
