About me
Hi, my name is Becky, and I am based in Burscough near Ormskirk. I use hypnotherapy as a gentle yet effective way to help clients develop new perspectives, reduce distress, and build more helpful ways of thinking and responding. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, confidence, habits, or feeling stuck, hypnotherapy can support purposeful and lasting change.
I decided to become a Hypnotherapist during my own therapeutic journey due to the powerful and profound changes I experienced. My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to a person's individual needs. I believe meaningful change happens when you feel safe, understood, and supported. I understand that no two people experience difficulties the same way, so from this foundation, we can begin to explore patterns, beliefs, and responses that may be holding you back. I aim to offer a calm, non-judgemental space where you can feel secure exploring, growing, and moving forward at your own pace.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a fully qualified Hypnotherapist, holding a Certificate in Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy (CHP) from the National College of Hypnosis and Psychotherapy (NCHP). I am continuing my education with them, training as an Advanced Psychotherapist.
I hold a particular interest in how the mind and body work together to process experiences and create change. Alongside my Hypnotherapy practice, ongoing Psychotherapy training continues to deepen my understanding of emotional well-being and the therapeutic relationship. This allows me to work in a way that is both grounded and responsive to each client’s needs. My background before entering the therapeutic world was in business development, sales and marketing.
