About me

Hi, I'm Annie at Room to Relax, a busy practice I run from my home in Sheffield.

For over 30 years my background has been in caring professions. I'm a qualified Counsellor and Hypnotherapist using NLP (Neuro linguistic techniques), and I am also trained in body healing therapies.

The accumulation of all these   years in a caring capacity has given me experiance in all walks of  life, providing me with a wealth of  understanding that problems are often rooted deep in the unconscious mind. They can't alway be resolved by talking alone. Sometimes they begin to unintentionally create negative patterns, beliefs and upsetting behaviours that actually stem from our past experiences, traumas and relationships.

Hypnotherapy is based around the latest understandings of the brain and it is an effective and safe therapy. It allows changes to take place prompting you to move forward and beyond personal challenges and problems that you want removing from your life.  We are a partnership and we do this together. This is modern psychotherapy at its best, but don't just take my word for it.

Be inspired by the success stories throughout my website and please do get in touch. I look forward to your call. My sessions are available either in person at my Room to Relax therapy room in Sheffield or online.
