About me
Hi, I'm Andrea, an accredited psychotherapist and clinical hypnotherapist working in the centre of Guildford as well as online. In my practice I help people overcome issues such as anxiety, depression, stress, phobias, grief, trauma, addiction (smoking, gambling), and weight problems.
Perhaps you are feeling more anxious than normal, you are tired of always dealing with anxiety or depression. Maybe you are having difficulties in relationships, or you need to stop a habit that has become a burden such as gambling or smoking. You might feel that events of the past still affect your current life and habits and behaviours that you may not even be aware of are still sabotaging your happiness and wellbeing, making you feel as if there is always something missing no matter what you do.
No matter what issues you are facing, I offer a very personalised approach that is specifically tailored to suit your needs and use many different approaches and techniques to achieve this including psychotherapeutic frameworks. As a psychotherapist as well as a clinical hypnotherapist, my work is based on evidence-based approaches that offer problem resolution while ensuring your safety.
I aim to understand you as an individual, in the context of your own life and environment so that your solutions are appropriate, effective and long lasting. In your first session we will discuss your concerns and how therapy may help you. You will have the opportunity to ask questions, gain a deeper understanding of hypnotherapy, how it works and whether it is the right approach for you. If you are not familiar with hypnotherapy we will work at your own pace, starting with a short relaxation session so you can get a taste of not only the benefits of hypnosis, but the pleasant and relaxing feeling and sensations that hypnotherapy provides.
My practice is founded in empathy and understanding, and whatever you are going through or trying to resolve, it is important and deserves a professional, caring and confidential approach. I also understand that finding a solution in a timely manner is very important, and you might be surprised at how some problems can be resolved with hypnotherapy in only a few sessions. I do not have a magic wand that will make your problems disappear, but I have helped clients to rediscover their qualities and abilities so that they were able to find their own magic!
If you are trying to resolve your problems but feel stuck and finding it difficult to get the results you want, please give me a call on +44 7425 110038 for a free telephone consultation.
