About me
I work in Guildford and surrounding areas as well as online, helping people to overcome issues such as anxiety, depression, stress, phobias, grief, trauma, addiction (smoking, gambling), weight problems, and many more.
It is not always easy to admit to ourselves that we may need help, let alone ask for it. You should be proud to have already come this far.
In my practice I aim to help you find solutions to your personal, professional or relational problems. Perhaps things don't make sense at home or at work anymore and you feel anxious, tired and depressed. You may feel lost or struggle to understand why you cant just stop that annoying/unhelpful behaviour. Or perhaps you want to know why you have a feeling that something is always missing.
No matter what issues you are facing, I offer a very personalised approach that is specifically tailored to suit your needs and use many different approaches and techniques to achieve this. I aim to understand you as an individual, in the context of your own life and environment so that your solutions are appropriate, effective and long lasting. In your first session we will discuss your concerns and how therapy may help you. You will have the opportunity to ask questions, gain a deeper understanding of hypnotherapy and how it works. If you are not familiar with hypnotherapy we will work at your own pace, starting with a short relaxation session so you can get a taste of not only the benefits of hypnosis, but the pleasant and relaxing feeling and sensations that hypnotherapy provides.
My practice is founded in empathy and understanding, and whatever you are going through or trying to resolve, it is important and significant and deserves a professional, caring and confidential approach. I also understand that finding a solution in a timely manner is very important, and you might be surprised at how some problems can be resolved with hypnotherapy in only a few sessions. I do not have a magic wand that will make your problems disappear, but I have helped clients to rediscover their qualities and abilities so that they were able to find their own magic!

Member organisations
The CNHC encompasses many types of alternative therapy, including hypnotherapy.
In order to be admitted to the register a practitioner must have studied to the National Occupational Standards for that profession/discipline, or have reached the equivalent of the National Occupational Standards through other relevant training or at least three years of experience and been assessed by their peers.
A practitioner must also have professional insurance and agree to abide by the CNHC Code of Conduct, Performance and Ethics.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
