Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT)
The name itself reveals what this unique school of hypnotherapy offers: permanent and fast transformation. Fast? It means that the client needs only one to three sessions to fix the issue – for good.
The main reason why RTT hypnotherapy is extraordinarily effective is because of its techniques and the structure of the session. The session is about 90 to 120 minutes long. It starts with a short chat about the issue, but since we know that 90% of all our behaviours, issues and habits are rooted in the subconscious mind, it’s much more important to discover what these roots are in its core. A client then enters the state of hypnosis, which in other words means a very relaxed and calm state of mind of alpha brainwaves where the door to the subconscious mind opens. Here lie all the answers to the client’s questions. RTT uses regression in order to get to the core of the issue. It is extremely important that the client gains the understanding of why the issue developed in the first place and why it still persists in their life. Only after that can they really move on.
It is never the event that hurts; it is the meaning or the interpretation of that event that hurts. After the client has learnt about this meaning that’s causing them pain, they are next changing it with the help of RTT therapist. Because it’s all done on the subconscious level, it means the issue is fixed at its core.
Time and again it comes up that the client still lives in the belief system and emotional world of them as a child. Our analytical mind keeps us away from those emotions because it doesn’t know how to cope with them. Instead, it keeps the child’s belief system in place because it was a coping mechanism for a child and it seemed to have worked then. When in hypnosis, the client reconnects with that inner child, faces both the emotions and beliefs. The client releases the emotions and understands that those beliefs are now redundant. RTT works on upgrading that inner child into the present world so that instead of the client living in their past, the inner child is now living with them in the present.
At the end of the session, the client receives a bespoke recording which they listen to for 21 days. That is the duration of time that the brain needs to rewire its neuronal pathway which in other words means picking up a new (thought) habit. “Every habit of action is run by a habit of thought” (Marisa Peer, one of the world’s best hypnotherapists and the founder of RTT). By changing thought patterns the client is changing the way they feel which furthermore changes their actions, and therefore events, in their lives.
RTT is a 21-day process of self-exploring and self-change in which a person gains back the power and control over their life and create the life they want to live.
