About me
My name is Wendy and I am a practising Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist. I have lived in Clackmannanshire for many years now, before this I lived in Stirling.
For those of you that are not sure about what Hypnotherapy is, here is some useful information. What is Hypnotherapy? Hypnotherapy, also referred to as guided hypnosis. It is a form of psychotherapy that uses relaxation, extreme concentration, and intense attention to achieve a heightened state of consciousness or mindfulness. In other words, it places the individual into a “trance” or altered state of awareness. During hypnosis the subconscious and unconscious areas of the mind are opened up to new suggestions that can help with many forms of mental health problems like depression, anxiety and stress related issues. It is also good for addictive behaviours, phobias, PTSD and OCD among other psychological problems.
As well as targeting negative thinking and psychological issues, hypnosis can be used to enhance self-esteem, confidence, create more mindfulness and boost person development.
I work privately from my home, where I have a comfortable and homely environment where clients can feel relaxed and at ease. Clients can come to me with their problems where I assist them with these using my expert skills as a Hypnotherapist.
Once a client has contacted me and would like to proceed with therapy, I set up an initial consultation and short hypnosis intervention which would last approximately an hour.
