About me

Hi, I'm Tracey and I'm a clinical hypnotherapist using solution focused and medical hypnotherapy to help my clients to overcome issues, achieve their goals and just enjoy life.  I work online and from a private therapy room in Stockbridge, where my clients can be expected to be listened to without judgement and with respect in a safe and compassionate space.

The therapy is collaborative, gentle and relatively short term in nature and all I ask for from my clients is a willingness to change!

I work with children, teens and adults to help them manage:

* anxiety and stress related conditions

*low mood

*sleep issues

*chronic pain

*chronic conditions

*low self esteem and self confidence

*phobias

*health anxiety

*panic attacks

*irritable bowel syndrome

The Solution Focused Hypnotherapy model uses talking therapy (Solution Focused Brief Therapy, CBT and NLP) combined with clinical hypnosis - a highly effective combination of relaxation and beneficial suggestions to help you achieve your therapy goals. "Solution Focused" means that we focus on your future, where you would like to be - and not where you wouldn't. We can't change what's happened in the past, so we focus on what we can change - your present and your future.

I warmly welcome all clients to my practice including those from the LGBTQ+ community.

Please message me to arrange a free, no obligation chat to find out how I may help.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am an experienced Clinical Hypnotherapist and did my initial training with the acclaimed Clifton Practice Hypnotherapy School.

There I attained a Diploma in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (DSFH) and the externally accredited Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma (HPD).  More recently, I attained a Diploma in Medical Hypnotherapy from the Clinical Hypnotherapy School to further develop my skills and knowledge with up to date and scientific, evidence based approaches.

I have an Enhanced DBS and am a member of the following regulatory bodies:

AfSFH – The Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy
CNHC – Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council
NCH – National Council for Hypnotherapy

This means that:
I am fully insured to practice hypnotherapy
I am committed to the highest standards
I adhere to a code of professional conduct and ethics
I update my skills regularly by attending CPD’s (including CBT, Calm Childbirth, Working with Children and Young People, Working with Children and Adults with Challenging Behaviour, Gut Directed Hypnotherapy, Rewind Technique and OCD).
