About me
Do you feel like you're barely hanging in there, confused, overwhelmed or paralysed by fear; fear of moving forwards, fear of change, fear of someone else, fear of failure, fear of not being good enough, fear of not knowing who you really are?
Are you looking for a therapist where you can be 100% yourself, where you don't have to pretend you feel OK or are getting better? Someone who will listen to you and you feel comfortable talking to?
I don't have all the answers because I'm not you, but I'm with you on your journey. I'm a Clinical Hypnotherapist using Psychotherapy to help you find the strength to make lasting changes.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am an accredited Clinical Hypnotherapist CHP(NC), having trained with the National College of Hypnosis and Psychotherapy at Masters Level from 2021. I have a Certificate in Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy.
My approach uses hypnotherapy in conjunction with psychotherapy techniques to help clients find lasting solutions to many of life's challenges.
To expand my knowledge and keep in touch with current thinking in the world of hypnotherapy and psychotherapy, I continue professional development under the framework of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP). This means that I can offer you the best in professionalism and education in order to understand your issues and facilitate finding solutions as effectively as possible.
Member organisations
The CNHC encompasses many types of alternative therapy, including hypnotherapy.
In order to be admitted to the register a practitioner must have studied to the National Occupational Standards for that profession/discipline, or have reached the equivalent of the National Occupational Standards through other relevant training or at least three years of experience and been assessed by their peers.
A practitioner must also have professional insurance and agree to abide by the CNHC Code of Conduct, Performance and Ethics.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
