About me
I am Russell, an integrative hypnotherapist, with additional psychotherapeutic training. My focus is to work with clients who may be struggling with making a change. Life can present us with challenges at different times and lead to us feeling helpless or stuck. Finding the right support at just such times can make all the difference.
I am a CNHC registered hypnotherapist, with certification in Gestalt Counselling and a Diploma in Transformational Coaching. I am continuing to deepen my knowledge through working towards UKCP registration as a integrative psychotherapist. I work with a range of therapeutic tools, drawing on my experience to work with clients from a range of backgrounds in an inclusive way.
I work with what is going on with clients right now, supporting change through identifying patterns, with the aim of creating helpful, lasting change.
I understand that seeking help can feel like a big step. I offer a free consultation call or online meet to explore how we might work together. This provides an opportunity for me to listen to your needs and to answer any questions you may have about how therapy works.

Member organisations
The CNHC encompasses many types of alternative therapy, including hypnotherapy. In order to be admitted to the register a practitioner must have studied to the National Occupational Standards for that profession/discipline, or have reached the equivalent of the National Occupational Standards through other relevant training or at least three years of experience and been assessed by their peers. A practitioner must also have professional insurance and agree to abide by the CNHC Code of Conduct, Performance and Ethics.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
