About me
Hello, I’m a Clinical Hypnotherapist and NLP Practitioner offering a warm, compassionate and person-centred approach to helping children, young people and adults create positive change.
I understand that people often come to therapy when they feel stuck in patterns of thinking, feeling or behaving that they have struggled to change by themselves. My approach is gentle, practical and collaborative, combining clinical hypnotherapy with NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), mindset techniques, relaxation, visualisation and emotional regulation strategies according to the needs of each individual.
I commonly support people experiencing anxiety, stress and overwhelm, low confidence and self-esteem, fears and phobias, panic, perfectionism, procrastination, sleep difficulties, grief and loss, unwanted habits, smoking and vaping, weight management, and difficulties with motivation or feeling stuck.
I also have a particular interest in performance and mindset, including exam anxiety, interview confidence, public speaking, sports performance, focus and mental rehearsal.
A significant part of my work is with children, teenagers and young adults, including neurodivergent young people and adults. My extensive background in education means I understand the challenges that can present in ADHD, autism, SEND, emotional regulation difficulties, school-related anxiety and barriers to engaging in education and transition .
NLP complements my hypnotherapy work particularly well. It can help us explore how our thoughts, language, emotions and behaviours interact and identify patterns that may no longer be helpful. I may incorporate techniques such as reframing, anchoring, visualisation and mental rehearsal alongside hypnosis.
I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Sessions are tailored to you, your goals and the way you experience the world. My aim is to provide a safe, supportive and non-judgemental space where you feel heard and we can work together towards the changes that matter to you.

What can you expect when working with me?
Taking the first step towards therapy can sometimes feel daunting, so I aim to make the process as relaxed and comfortable as possible.
Our initial conversation gives us an opportunity to talk about what has brought you to therapy, what you would like to change and what you hope to gain from our work together. There is no expectation to share anything before you feel ready.
Hypnosis is a natural state of focused attention and relaxation. You remain aware and in control throughout the process.
Because I integrate hypnotherapy with NLP and other approaches within my professional training, sessions can be adapted to the individual. Some people respond particularly well to visualisation and hypnosis, while others benefit from practical mindset strategies, reframing, anchoring or mental rehearsal.
I particularly welcome clients who may previously have felt that they did not quite “fit” traditional approaches to therapy. Neurodivergence, sensory needs, communication preferences and individual differences are respected and sessions can be adapted accordingly.
I work from the belief that therapy should not simply focus on what is “wrong”, but help people recognise their existing strengths, resources and capacity for change.
Appointments are available in person and online.
If you are unsure whether hypnotherapy or NLP might be suitable for you, you are very welcome to get in touch for an initial conversation.
